Andrew looked at Mikayla with open disgust. “Take Mr. Owens Senior and get out.”

She stared at him, stunned. “Andrew… you’re really letting us go?”

His voice was indifferent. “From this moment on, I don’t want the Owens family existing in Chetvine.”

A bitter laugh escaped her lips.

For generations, the Owens family had chased the dream of becoming a noble house, of building a legacy that would stand for decades. Now it had all collapsed into dust. Time and again, Andrew had crushed them. This time, he had ended it completely.

That was why Andrew believed most of what Lorenzo and Mikayla had said. Guillermo was probably preparing to run.

Andrew had Aspen bring him the Godslayer. He drew a steady breath. In just a few more hours, his injuries would recover further. Then he would head straight to Guillermo’s lair and finish that bastard first.

As the words fell, the intruder stepped into Andrew’s room.

It was Guillermo.

Jose followed close behind.
