Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3261
At the Lloyd family estate, Andrew’s injuries had finally stabilized.
After repeatedly taking the ninth-grade supreme elixir, his recovery speed became almost unbelievable. Wounds that should have taken months were closing in days. Even the Lloyd family elders could only stare in quiet awe.
Sheena and the others had been waiting for him to wake fully. The moment his condition improved, they began reporting one after another.
“Andy,” Sheena said calmly, “Trevor from the Thunder Sect is dead. Chetvine is essentially under our control now. The major factions—especially the noble houses—are either on our side or too frightened to act. Guillermo is completely isolated.”
Her gaze sharpened.
“The next step is to hunt him down.”
Andrew’s face was still pale, but his voice was steady.
“No rush. A cornered animal is the most dangerous. If we push him too hard, he might do something reckless.”
One of the Lloyd department heads nodded gravely. “Exactly. Guillermo has operated in Chetvine for years. If he loses control, the consequences could be catastrophic.”
Nyx crossed her arms, her tone icy. “If he wants to play dirty, we’ll match him move for move. Honey, you, Sheena, and I can take him down without breaking a sweat.”
Andrew shook his head.
“No need. In the end, I’ll take his head myself.”
Just then, a Lloyd family member hurried in, escorting a visitor.
Nyx and the others turned—and their expressions brightened.
“Mr. Hearst? What brings you here?”
It was Franz.
He walked straight toward Andrew. “Andy, how are you feeling?”
Andrew smiled faintly. “I’m fine, Mr. Hearst. But for you to come at a time like this… I assume something serious has happened.”
Franz’s expression turned grave.
“The Hearstlands have mobilized. The Hearst family has officially declared war on the Lloyd royal family.”
He continued heavily, “Before coming to Chetvine, Patriarch Pablo made it clear that he acted at his own risk—that the family was not to seek revenge if something happened to him. But no one expected him to actually die.”
His eyes darkened.
“They’re demanding that we hand you over. Your life for Patriarch Pablo’s. Otherwise, they’ll march into Chetvine.”
Andrew’s expression didn’t change.
“I’m not surprised,” he said flatly. “If they want to come, let them.”
Franz hesitated.
“Andy… there’s more.”
Andrew looked at him. “Just say it.”
Franz took a breath.
“The Dark Clans have made their move. They’ve already crossed the Wastelands and are advancing toward Azure Gate on Holtrien’s eastern border.”
The room fell silent.
“On top of that,” Franz continued, “all three Western empires have deployed troops. It looks like they’re going all-in against Holtrien. A fight to the death.”
Andrew’s eyes turned cold.
“The three Western empires and the Dark Clans have always been mortal enemies. It’s strange they’re cooperating.”
Nyx spoke quietly.
“Honey, the Vampire Queen’s abilities are far beyond what we imagined. The key leaders of those three empires may already be under her control.”
Her blue eyes were serious.
“With her power, igniting a war between continents would be easy.”
A chill ran through Andrew.
“If that’s true… then controlling the political leaders of three empires wouldn’t be difficult for her.”
Franz nodded.
“That’s exactly my concern.”
He straightened.
“I came for two reasons. First, to inform you. Second, I’m leaving immediately with the military for Azure Gate. I won’t be able to look after things here.”
Andrew waved him off lightly.
“Don’t worry about me, Mr. Hearst. I’ll manage.”
Franz exhaled heavily.
“Andy, the nation is in crisis. Without you on the battlefield, Holtrien will face tremendous danger. Please—settle your internal matters quickly and head to Azure Gate as soon as possible.”
The room grew quiet.
Andrew lowered his gaze briefly, thinking.
Then he looked up.
“If it truly comes to that,” he said calmly, “I’ll be there.”
