Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3255

Andrew returned to the Lloyd family estate immediately. His injuries were severe, but not fatal. His close companions were shaken and rushed to steady him, urging him to rest.

At the same time, Francesca sprinted off to notify the Lloyd family.

Not long after, Donovan arrived at Andrew’s new residence. He said nothing when he saw Andrew’s condition, but the look in his eyes slowly turned vicious.

“Andy,” Donovan said through clenched teeth, “don’t worry about anything else. Since it’s come to this, it’s a fight to the death. The Lloyd family has been far too patient with these people.”

With that, he turned and headed outside.

Philip hurried after him. “Patriarch Donovan, what are you planning to do?”

Donovan stopped and looked back coldly. “General, you watched the entire fight between Andrew and Pablo, didn’t you?”

    Philip frowned. “I did.”

“Then you should understand,” Donovan continued, “that the Lloyd royal family has already shown enough restraint. We held back because we didn’t want Andrew standing against all of Holtrien too soon.

“But now the other two royal families are openly and secretly siding with Guillermo. Even Pablo personally moved against Andrew. If that’s how they want it, then the Lloyd family won’t hold back either. If they want chaos, we’ll see it through to the end.”

Philip’s expression darkened. “Patriarch Donovan, don’t act rashly. Andrew killed Patriarch Pablo.”

Donovan froze. “What did you say?”

Philip gave a bitter smile and quickly explained what had happened. “He broke the Hearst royal family’s signature technique—the Diamond Body Art. Pablo was undefeated his entire life, but Andrew shattered the technique, found his weak point, and…”

    He exhaled heavily.

Donovan fell silent for a moment, then his voice grew even colder.

“In that case, we prepare for war. The Hearstlands will rise. There’s no doubt about it. The Lloyd family will go all out. If blood has to spill, then so be it.”

Philip opened his mouth, but Donovan raised a hand to stop him.

“General, you’ve always stood with Andrew, haven’t you? Whether you support him fully now or have other considerations, I won’t press you.

“I only hope you can see clearly who should carry Holtrien’s future.”

    His gaze sharpened.

“The Lloyd family already lost Reginald. We will not allow anything to happen to Andrew. Putting the nation first and standing united against external threats has always been Holtrien’s tradition. But Guillermo—along with the Hearst and Cavendish families—has gone too far.

    “We’ve endured enough.”

Philip forced a faint, bitter smile. “Patriarch Donovan… what exactly do you intend to do?”

    Donovan’s jaw tightened.

“It’s simple. First, we eliminate that traitor, Guillermo. Chetvine needs new leadership. The Lloyd family will stand united and fear no sacrifice. No matter the cost, we will push Andrew to the top.

“Once Chetvine is under control, we’ll turn our forces toward the Hearst and Cavendish royal families. Everything’s out in the open now. Let’s see which of the three royal families has the last laugh.

“The loser will fall into ruin and never rise again in Holtrien.”

His words were steady, but filled with unmistakable killing intent.

Philip wanted to stop him. In the end, he said nothing.

The military’s attention was supposed to be fixed on the looming war between the eastern and western continents. Yet now, the three royal families were colliding over the shifting power in Chetvine, fueled by years of resentment and fresh bloodshed.

The timing couldn’t have been worse.

And yet, Guillermo’s fall and Andrew’s rise were inevitable.

The two sides could never coexist peacefully. If this wasn’t settled now, Holtrien’s future continental war would be in serious jeopardy.

Philip sighed. “In the end, I can’t control what the three royal families decide. I only hope, Patriarch Donovan, that you keep the bigger picture in mind.”

Donovan replied evenly, “If our country or family demands it, every son and daughter of the Lloyd family would give their lives without hesitation.

“But if the Hearst family and Guillermo think we’re easy to bully, they’re gravely mistaken.

“For Andrew’s sake, I’d stake this old life of mine.”

With that, he turned and walked away.

Philip suddenly snapped back to attention.

“One of the Lloyd family’s department heads—and Sheena—they’re nowhere to be seen. Normally they would’ve rushed over the moment Andrew was injured.”

    His expression tightened.

“Could they already be making a move?”
