Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3253

At the top of Skytower, Guillermo and Lorenzo stood frozen, shock written plainly across their faces.

Lorenzo’s complexion drained of color as he turned to Guillermo. “Mr. Vazquez… Patriarch Pablo was the core of the Hearst royal family—the absolute core. And he was killed just like that. How could the Hearstlands possibly let this slide?”

Guillermo’s expression darkened, unease flickering beneath the surface. His first reaction wasn’t relief.

By his calculations, Pablo should have either severely injured Andrew—or killed him by accident. When two fighters at that level clashed, losing control wasn’t unusual. In a life-or-death struggle, an unintended kill was considered normal.

But this time, it was Pablo—the head of the Hearst family, one of the most renowned figures in Holtrien—who had died at Andrew’s hands.

A conclusion formed in Guillermo’s mind, one he could barely accept.

I’m no match for that little bastard…

He knew his own limits. Though he stood at the peak of the martial god realm, he was nowhere near Pablo’s level. The Diamond Body Art was the pinnacle of supreme techniques. Pablo had refined it to a terrifying degree, to the point that he was almost without fatal weakness.

Even outside Holtrien, against the most vicious vampires or werewolves, Pablo would have remained undefeated.

And yet, the man who should never have lost… had not only lost, but died.

Suddenly, Guillermo barked, “We’re leaving. The plan has changed!”

A cold chill ran down Lorenzo’s spine. “Mr. Vazquez… what plan?”

Guillermo’s jaw tightened. “Andrew killed Pablo. The Hearst family will be furious.

“With the power of the Hearstlands, they could drag half of Holtrien into disaster. The western martial circles are completely loyal to them. With their influence in the West, they can mobilize at least five more martial god–level figures. Add that to their own experts and their three main legions…”

    His voice grew grim.

“Holtrien could descend into civil war.”

Lorenzo sucked in a sharp breath. The words civil war nearly emptied his mind. Had it really escalated this far?

Among the three royal families, the Hearsts were the most balanced. The Lloyd royal family relied heavily on Reginald, a once-in-a-generation prodigy. The Cavendish royal family was known for immense wealth and deep influence across every sector of Holtrien.

    But the Hearsts were different.

They possessed overwhelming military strength. Even internally, their number of martial gods far exceeded what the other two royal families could match.

If the Hearst family mobilized, chaos would be inevitable.

After returning to the estate, Guillermo immediately contacted the Hearst royal family’s representative in Chetvine.

“There’s been an incident involving Patriarch Pablo,” he reported carefully, his tone heavy. “You may need to inform headquarters in the Hearstlands.”

The voice on the other end was icy. “Patriarch Pablo went to see Andrew. What could possibly have happened? Explain yourself, Mr. Vazquez.”

Guillermo fell silent for a moment, choosing to stall.

“I don’t have all the details yet. But Patriarch Pablo won’t be returning to the Hearstlands anytime soon.”

The response exploded with fury. “Mr. Vazquez, what exactly do you mean? Did Andrew detain Patriarch Pablo? He wouldn’t dare!”

Already on edge, Guillermo snapped, “Calm down. I was the one who invited Patriarch Pablo. If anything has happened, I’ll take responsibility. There’s no need for you to panic.”

The man on the other end sneered, showing no respect. “Mr. Vazquez, since you admit you invited him… then yes, if anything happens, you will be responsible.

“From the way you’re talking, it’s obvious there’s something you’re not telling me. But this is Chetvine. If the Hearst family wants to investigate, it won’t be difficult.

“Let me be clear. If anything happens to Patriarch Pablo in Chetvine… that boy Andrew won’t live.

“And you won’t walk away unscathed either.”
