Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3246

Philip ended the call and accelerated, his figure flashing across rooftops like a streak of shadow. The shockwaves ahead grew denser, compressing the air into visible distortions. Even from a distance, he could feel the collision between Andrew and Pablo shaking the city’s spiritual veins.

    He muttered under his breath.

“If this explodes into a royal war… Holtrien won’t survive the tremors.”

But even as he rushed forward—

    Elsewhere—

    The message had already landed.

    [Prepare for war.]

At a secluded military compound on the outskirts of Holtrien, a red indicator light flickered to life inside an underground hall sealed for decades.

One by one, steel doors slid open.

    Boots struck stone.

    Old men stepped forward.

Yet none carried the frailty of age.

Their backs were straight as spears. Their hands steady as forged iron. Scarred faces bore the weight of forgotten campaigns. Each lifted a massive war blade—over one hundred pounds—with the casual ease of lifting a cane.

    Five hundred of them.

    No banners.

    No insignia.

    Only presence.

    The Iron Cavalry had awakened.

Once, they had crushed underground regimes, erased rogue warlords, and forced hostile nations to reconsider their ambitions toward Holtrien. They had vanished quietly after that era ended.

    Now they stood assembled again.

    Not many in number.

    But enough.

Every one of them radiated a cultivation brushing the threshold of a Martial Emperor.

Five hundred near-emperors moving as one.

    That was not an army.

    It was a statement.

    Back in Chetvine—

    Andrew and Pablo collided again.

This time the impact split the street from end to end. The fissure tore forward like a dragon carving through the earth. Nearby buildings leaned dangerously, their foundations compromised by the sheer pressure of two peak powers clashing.

Pablo’s Diamond Body glowed brighter than before, metallic veins pulsing beneath his skin.

“You’re forcing me to go further,” he said.

Andrew wiped blood from his lip, smiling faintly.

    “Then go further.”

Pablo’s aura condensed inward instead of expanding. The air around him began crystallizing faintly, as if the atmosphere itself were hardening into invisible diamond dust.

At the top of the Skytower, Guillermo’s voice grew tight.

    “He’s activating the second phase…”

Lorenzo’s fingers dug into the railing.

“If this continues, half the city will collapse.”

    Across the city perimeter—

    Engines roared to life.

    Armored transports moved without headlights.

    No sirens.

    No announcements.

The Iron Cavalry deployed in silence.

Philip finally reached a vantage point overlooking the battlefield. He halted for a fraction of a second as he assessed the situation.

    Andrew was bleeding.

But Pablo’s chest fracture had deepened.

This was no longer a simple interception.

This was a clash that could tilt the balance of Holtrien’s future.

    Philip’s gaze hardened.

“If you fall here, kid… the entire board flips.”

    He stepped forward—

    Then stopped.

    Because at that exact moment—

    Andrew’s aura changed.

    It did not surge violently.

    It stabilized.

    Compressed.

    Refined.

Like molten steel finally settling into a perfected blade.

    Pablo sensed it too.

    His expression shifted.

    “This feeling… You’re breaking through mid-battle?”

    Andrew inhaled slowly.

The chaos around him seemed to quiet.

“I told you,” he said calmly.

“As long as I’m not dead…”

The cracked pavement beneath his feet began to levitate in fragments.

    “…I can still fight.”

Far away, in a quiet mountain courtyard, a man who had not moved in years opened his eyes.

    Reginald.

    He looked toward Chetvine.

And for the first time in a long while—

    He smiled faintly.

Because the boy was no longer chasing anyone.

He was beginning to carve his own realm.

    And when that realm stabilized—

Even five thousand years of foundation might not be enough to contain it.
