Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3239
As the two fighters shifted locations, Otto was helped to his feet by members of the Cunningham family and hurried after them, determined to see how the battle would unfold. Nyx, Luna, Philip, and the others followed close behind, their eyes locked on the two figures locked in brutal combat.
Nyx’s voice was icy. “If anything happens to Andrew, I won’t hesitate. I’ll step in, and we’ll take Wyatt down together.”
She wasn’t from Holtrien and had no ties to the Cunningham family. Their fate meant nothing to her. If Andrew was in danger, she would act—without a second thought.
And if she did, she and Andrew would attack Wyatt at the same time. No matter how strong he was, he wouldn’t survive.
Her words drained the color from Otto’s face. The fragile hope that had just sparked inside him dropped straight back into despair. Andrew wasn’t alone—another female Martial God was watching from the sidelines like a predator ready to strike. The Cunningham family had kept this trump card hidden for years, but Wyatt alone could never defeat two Martial Gods at once.
Andrew unleashed palm strike after palm strike, each blow splitting stone and tearing structures apart. The scorching fury of Inferno Strike erupted from him at a level even gods and demons would avoid. The technique was already fierce and domineering, burning with overwhelming heat. In the past, Andrew hadn’t been strong enough to draw out its full power. Now, standing at the peak of his strength, he released it completely.
Wyatt roared again and again.
After several midair clashes, his face flushed bright red, and steam rose from the top of his head. Though his immense power kept him from being truly injured, the force of Inferno Strike left him visibly shaken and deeply uncomfortable.
With an angry roar, Wyatt shot upward and landed on a rooftop.
The instant his feet touched down, the roof beneath him exploded.
Andrew surged up like a furious dragon breaking free from the depths, blasting the entire building apart. Debris flew everywhere as he soared into the sky, killing intent blazing across his face.
“You brat—don’t push your luck!” Wyatt bellowed. He exhaled sharply and slammed both palms downward.
Two solid streams of energy twisted into golden dragons midair and crashed into Andrew, driving him down.
Andrew’s back slammed into a stone pillar. It shattered with a thunderous crack, and the impact sent tiles and half the roof collapsing in a deafening roar.
A sharp cry rang out from the crowd.
“Mr. Turman, Andrew’s in danger!” Luna shouted.
Philip’s fist tightened, then loosened. Though tension flickered across his face, he remained steadier than Luna. “Let’s wait a little longer,” he said in a low voice.
Nyx had already tightened her grip on the dagger at her side. Whether she moved or not depended entirely on how this played out.
Below, Otto and the others were thrilled. For the moment, Wyatt clearly had the upper hand.
But only Wyatt knew the truth.
His expression was stretched tight as he stared unblinking at the smoke-choked ruins. He understood better than anyone how dangerous Andrew truly was.
Then—
A figure shot out of the dust.
Andrew.
Midair, he twisted sharply like an eagle and launched himself at Wyatt again.
Wyatt raised his hands and, in a single breath, unleashed hundreds of punches. Each strike carried enough force to kill a savage beast. Explosions boomed through the air, one after another.
The two moved like spinning tops at blinding speed, fighting from the sky to the ground and back again. They tore across rooftops, collisions detonating everywhere they clashed.
The Cunningham family estate in Chetvine sprawled wide, but within moments, the two powerhouses had already battled several hundred meters away.
Family members below chased after them, necks craned upward, afraid to blink. They didn’t dare lose sight of Wyatt for even a second, terrified Andrew might kill him the moment he slipped from view.
Nyx had already leaped onto a rooftop, watching the fight up close, ready to move at any instant.
