Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3227
More than fifty Divine Alchemists’ disciples shouted in unison. Weapons raised, they surged forward.
Before they could even take a full step, Nyx moved.
She vanished like a phantom, streaking through the hall at blinding speed. It wasn’t just the ordinary disciples who couldn’t track her—Titus and the two elders felt their vision blur, unable to lock onto her position.
Then, just as suddenly, she was back at Andrew’s side.
It was as if she had never moved.
The next second, a series of dull thuds echoed through the hall.
All fifty elite disciples collapsed.
Dead.
Each one had their throat slit—clean, precise, executed in a single ruthless motion.
“Damn it!” Titus’s face drained of color as cold sweat soaked through his clothes. The two elders’ eyes burned red with fury. Fifty core disciples, handpicked and trained, had died without even landing a strike. The humiliation was suffocating.
The elders attacked simultaneously, blasting toward Nyx in a surge of rage.
Her expression didn’t change. The blue-glowing dagger in her hand shimmered faintly. She disappeared—and reappeared beside one of the elders, the blade already pressed against his throat.
“What on—”
The elder was at the peak of martial emperor level, just a step away from becoming a martial god. Yet he had been subdued in a single move, without even brushing the hem of Nyx’s clothing.
The other elder’s face darkened. Eyes bloodshot, he roared at Andrew, “Let him go!”
They had prepared meticulously for this showdown, waiting for Andrew to walk into their trap. No one had imagined that in the first exchange, they would be utterly crushed—some dead, others captured. The disparity in strength was overwhelming. Humiliating.
Titus shot to his feet, his aura erupting.
“Andrew! Tell your subordinate to release our elder!”
Andrew smiled faintly. “You don’t look as calm as you did earlier. Why not keep opposing me?”
Titus’s gaze flicked to the blue dagger in Nyx’s hand—a blade so swift it remained unstained by blood. She was terrifyingly powerful. Without question, she had to be at martial god level. Among the Divine Alchemists, only Julius might stand a chance against her.
But Julius was thousands of miles away.
What could they do?
Sweat beaded on Titus’s forehead as panic tightened around him.
Andrew’s eyes were cold. “I already told you. The Divine Alchemists are nothing but trash in my eyes now. Titus—kneel.”
Titus trembled violently, his mind ringing. “Never! Even if I die, I will not bow to your tyranny!”
Andrew remained indifferent. “Nyx.”
A trace of pity flickered across Nyx’s stunning face.
The dagger flashed.
She disappeared.
The captured elder’s eyes widened as the light drained from them inch by inch. He collapsed to the floor, dead—eyes still open.
The remaining elder, consumed by grief and rage, let out a feral roar and lunged at Andrew.
“You monster! I’ll kill you!”
Andrew didn’t even look at him.
He raised a hand casually and struck with a single palm—his first move since entering Sovereign’s Apothecary.
The elder’s chest exploded inward. He flew backward, smashing through the hall wall and hurtling several more yards before dying miserably.
The few remaining men swallowed hard, their faces turning ashen with fear.
Among them was Theon, the chief alchemist of Sovereign’s Apothecary. He trembled violently, waving his hands in panic.
“This has nothing to do with me! Mr. Lloyd, your grievance is with the Divine Alchemists. I’m innocent—I swear!”
Andrew narrowed his eyes and smiled faintly. “I told you to pack your things and leave. It seems you treated my words like background noise.”
Theon’s legs shook so badly he nearly collapsed. “No—no, of course not! If you don’t wish to see me, Mr. Lloyd… I’ll leave right now. Immediately.”
Andrew let out a cold laugh.
“Too late.”
Theon’s entire body went rigid. In that moment, it felt as if the sky had collapsed over him.
For the first time, he truly believed he was about to die.
