Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3215
After leaving Sovereign’s Apothecary, Andrew didn’t slow down.
His next stop was the Iron Sword Sect.
A major force in Chetvine.
For the past two years, the Iron Sword Sect had worked closely with the Medicine God’s Covenant. The benefits of that cooperation had been undeniable. Their relationship with Andrew’s side had only deepened — even at the cost of earning Guillermo’s displeasure.
When Andrew arrived, the entire sect was shaken.
“The Lloyd family’s Dragon Prince gracing us with his presence is an honor to our sect.”
Both the current sect master and the retired former master personally came out to receive him.
The former master had long been in closed-door cultivation. Andrew’s sudden visit forced him out of seclusion.
Andrew didn’t waste words.
“War between Guillermo and me is inevitable.”
“I’m here to ask the Iron Sword Sect to stand with me.”
Silence followed.
The two masters exchanged a glance.
Andrew simply stood there, faint smile on his face, waiting.
After a long moment, the current master spoke cautiously.
“If I may ask… what realm are you in now?”
“And against Mr. Vazquez… what are your odds?”
Andrew smiled.
“Realms are meaningless.”
He paused.
“Let me put it this way.”
“Right now, I can kill anyone on the Titan List.”
The two masters stiffened.
The Titan List.
The highest echelon of combat power in Holtrien.
To speak so casually of killing anyone on it—
They couldn’t tell whether he was arrogant…
Or simply stating fact.
“Please wait a moment,” the elder master said quickly. “We need to confer.”
Andrew nodded. “Of course.”
A short while later, they returned.
The former master clasped his fists.
“From this day forward, the Iron Sword Sect stands with you, Mr. Lloyd.”
“We will follow your command.”
Andrew didn’t linger.
“Good.”
He stood and left immediately.
His decisiveness unsettled them even more.
As they watched him depart, the former master sighed.
“A great age of conflict is coming.”
“In such times, there is no surviving in the cracks.”
“You either choose a side…”
“Or get crushed between them.”
—
Back in the car, Aspen looked at Andrew curiously.
“Honey, are we really going to recruit allies this openly?”
“Isn’t that a bit too bold?”
Andrew looked ahead calmly.
“Some people won’t like it.”
“But in the face of absolute power, no one can stop me.”
Nyx crossed her arms.
“With your strength — and mine — we can already fight Guillermo head-on. Our chances are high.”
Andrew’s gaze turned colder.
“Guillermo is only one piece.”
“My real goal is to unite people’s hearts.”
“To prepare for the Blood Queen.”
The atmosphere inside the car shifted.
“We’ve been back for several days,” Andrew continued. “By now, the West has begun mobilizing.”
Nyx nodded.
“Juno and Knox sent word from Throne City.”
“The Dark Trinity is moving.”
“Not just the vampires and werewolves.”
“Even the sirens.”
Andrew exhaled slowly.
“Then we don’t have much time.”
“Let’s go. Next stop — the Reyes residence.”
“Valerie is there.”
—
They didn’t make it.
A figure stood in the middle of the road, directly blocking the car.
Tall.
Slender.
Long hair falling past his shoulders.
He looked like a worn-out artist in his early forties.
Melancholic eyes.
Soft features.
Even his voice carried a quiet gentleness.
“Step out of the car,” he said calmly.
“If words can solve this, I’d prefer words.”
“I don’t want to make a move in Chetvine.”
Nyx’s voice turned sharp.
“Honey. Be careful.”
“Holtrien hides many old monsters.”
“This one is stronger than Kelvin.”
Andrew opened the door without hesitation.
“You two stay inside.”
“I’ll handle it.”
He stepped forward.
The long-haired man studied him quietly.
“Do you recognize me?”
Andrew shook his head.
“I have guesses.”
“But I’m not interested.”
“And I don’t care.”
The man’s melancholic eyes darkened slightly.
“You truly are arrogant.”
Andrew’s expression didn’t change.
“People who block my car usually have two purposes.”
“To negotiate.”
“Or to die.”
He looked at the man steadily.
“Which are you?”
The wind shifted.
The air grew heavier.
And for the first time that day—
Andrew met someone who did not radiate anger.
Nor fear.
Only sorrow.
And that made him far more dangerous.
