Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3202
“The Lloyd family’s Dragon Prince! He’s the Lloyd family’s Dragon Prince!”
Someone suddenly screamed at the top of their lungs, voice shaking with excitement.
In an instant, the warriors and trainees outside erupted into chaos.
“No wonder he dared to kill someone from the Nieves family of Sylvan Peaks without blinking.”
“So he’s even more terrifying than the Nieves family.”
“The Lloyd family’s Dragon Prince is back in Chetvine? Something big is about to happen.”
Many warriors turned pale and quietly slipped away.
It was obvious they were rushing off to report the news. The return of such a monstrously powerful figure from the Lloyd family was too important to sit on. It had to be delivered immediately.
Eric looked at Skylar’s body on the ground and threw up his hands helplessly. “Andrew, was it really a good idea to kill him like that? Guillermo’s definitely going to make a move now.”
Andrew replied calmly, “Whether he moves or not, I’m going after him anyway. The Nieves family of Sylvan Peaks?”
His tone turned ice-cold.
“Even if they were immortal gods, I wouldn’t spare them a second thought right now.”
He pushed through the crowd and headed toward the exit.
Just then, a wave of hurried footsteps echoed through the hall. A middle-aged man in a brigadier general’s uniform approached. His guards forced the onlookers aside, clearing a path as he walked straight toward Andrew.
It was Adair.
“Mr. Lloyd, it’s an honor to meet you.”
His tone was extremely polite, and his expression betrayed unmistakable tension.
Andrew said indifferently, “If you’re here to hold me accountable, fine. Have Philip come see me himself. This is the Martial Tower. I killed someone. I stand by what I did. If the military finds it inconvenient to deal with, just put the responsibility on me.”
Adair’s heart skipped.
As expected—Andrew was completely fearless.
With words like that, what could he even say?
Andrew continued, “Or if it’s still too difficult, you can let General Phelan handle it.”
Adair gave an awkward smile. “Mr. Lloyd, you must be joking. We all know your relationship with General Phelan. That formidable lady would never allow you to suffer even the slightest grievance.”
Andrew smiled faintly. “Then have General Reyes come. You know Valerie, right?”
Adair groaned inwardly.
Of course he knew those two legendary female generals. Pretending otherwise would be absurd. But precisely because he knew, cold sweat broke out across his forehead.
Both generals were Andrew’s women.
If he called them, he’d only be setting himself up to be reprimanded. They would stand firmly on Andrew’s side and show zero concern over Skylar’s death.
“Mr. Lloyd, please,” Adair said at last. “Go ahead. I will report everything to General Turman.”
In the end, he handled it skillfully. He personally cleared the path and respectfully invited Andrew to leave.
Andrew glanced at him coolly. “You’re newly promoted, aren’t you? Not bad. At least you’re not some pigheaded fool.”
Hearing that, Adair’s face lit up. He stood at attention and answered crisply, “Mr. Lloyd, I was promoted to brigadier general last year. It’s only natural that we haven’t met before.
“But if you ever need assistance, the military will gladly help. After all, you were once one of our heroes.”
Andrew gave a small nod and left without another word.
Eric followed behind him, smirking. “Military officers are all sly foxes. They clearly want to curry favor, but they dress it up by calling you a military hero—like that somehow makes the flattery legitimate.”
