Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3201
Andrew looked down at Bryan, who was still struggling in midair, and said coldly, “You’re a military officer. I won’t lay a hand on you. But remember this—you don’t have the right to touch me either. If I’m unwilling, uncomfortable, or unhappy, then forget about you—even that old geezer Philip can’t do a thing to me.”
With a sharp snort, Andrew released him.
Bryan hit the ground hard, his face pale.
Pointing at Andrew, he trembled with rage, lips shaking. “You lunatic! You dare disrespect even General Turman? Who the hell are you? There’s no one the military can’t handle.”
Andrew gave a faint, icy smile. “My name is Andrew Lloyd, of the Lloyd royal family. I said you can’t touch me, and that means you can’t. I know the Martial Tower has a no-kill rule. But starting today, that rule no longer applies to me.”
The words no longer applies made Bryan shake all over again.
He wanted to arrest Andrew on the spot—but the overwhelming gap in strength stopped him from doing something suicidal.
He pressed the communicator on his chest and contacted his superior.
After reporting Andrew’s name, the man on the other end—Adair Harris—immediately panicked.
“What did you say? The one who killed Skylar is Andrew? From the Lloyd royal family?”
“That’s correct, sir,” Bryan replied stiffly. “This madman is Andrew Lloyd. Please issue immediate orders. Do we apprehend him on site, or use any means necessary—including lethal force?”
On the other end, Adair—today’s supervising brigadier general of the Martial Tower—fell silent.
After a moment, his voice came out hoarse. “You and your men will apologize to him. Then withdraw. I will come personally to apologize and explain.”
Bryan thought he had misheard.
Apologize?
And a brigadier general was coming in person?
“What do you mean, sir?” Bryan demanded. “Aren’t we arresting him and holding him accountable?”
Adair exploded.
“I said back off, so back off immediately! Do you have any idea what the name ‘Andrew Lloyd’ represents? You idiot! Didn’t you read the reports?”
He didn’t pause.
“Andrew is the Lloyd family’s Dragon Prince! General Turman has made it clear—no one in the military is to clash with him right now! Take your men and get the hell out of there. Now!”
The roar made Bryan’s ears ring.
He looked at Andrew again, swallowing hard, shock crashing over him.
“Sir… are you the Lloyd family’s Dragon Prince? My apologies for my earlier offense.”
He snapped into a sharp salute, then immediately led his men out, not daring to hesitate for even a second.
The Lloyd family’s Dragon Prince had once been a soldier—had even fought on behalf of the military. But over time, his relationship with the military had grown complicated… unclear.
A mere major like Bryan couldn’t handle today’s situation.
Truthfully, even Adair, a brigadier general, likely wouldn’t dare.
But hadn’t this legend of Chetvine left two years ago?
Now he was back—and more ruthless than ever.
What was he planning?
Even someone as low-ranking as Bryan could feel it.
A storm was coming.
As the soldiers withdrew, the crowd erupted into chaos.
Even the military couldn’t touch him?
What kind of background did he have?
Just how terrifying was he—to be this untouchable?
