Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3187
Before Andrew could even say a word, Nyx leaned closer to Luna and asked in a low, uncertain voice,
“These women… are they also Andrew’s family?”
Luna covered her mouth and giggled. “Uh… how should I put this? I guess you could say that.”
Nyx let out a small breath of relief.
But as her eyes swept over the group of breathtaking beauties surrounding Andrew—each one striking enough to make even her feel a flicker of insecurity—that relief quickly wavered.
They crowded around him tightly, hugging him as if afraid he might disappear again. Several of them clung to him without restraint, pressing close, their joy written plainly on their tear-streaked faces.
Nyx felt her composure crack.
Her heart, which had only just settled, shot straight back into her throat.
She turned to Luna, her voice dropping to a whisper, equal parts stunned and awkward.
“Andrew’s family members can act like this with him? Even where I’m from—which is pretty open—that would be considered… excessive. The Lloyd family really is something else. No wonder they’re a great Holtrian clan.”
Luna bit her lip, barely holding back laughter.
After taking a moment to compose herself, she finally said gently,
“Nyx… from now on, these women will all be just like our sisters.”
She paused deliberately.
“Their relationship with Andrew is the same as yours. And mine.”
Nyx’s world tilted.
Her head spun violently, her knees nearly giving out as her eyes widened in disbelief.
“W–What did you just say?”
She stared at Luna, then slowly turned her gaze back to the women surrounding Andrew.
“You’re saying… they’re like us? They’re all Andrew’s women?” Her voice cracked. “Does that mean before he even met me, he was already this much of a—”
Her thoughts short-circuited.
At that moment, Nyx felt like she was staring down something far more terrifying than the Vampire Queen.
No—this was worse. This was incomprehensible.
She raised a trembling finger and began counting under her breath.
“One… two… three… four… six.”
Her face drained of color.
“Six of them. Plus you. Plus Valerie. Plus me…” She swallowed hard. “That makes nine.”
She turned slowly toward Luna, eyes wide with horror and disbelief.
“Andrew… h–how did he even manage this?”
Luna finally lost the battle.
She burst out laughing, doubling over and clutching her stomach.
“Nyx, this is the man you fell in love with. Great minds think alike, right? If he’s so popular, there must be a reason.”
She winked.
“Congratulations on joining the big family.”
Nyx waved her hands frantically, feeling as if all the blood had drained straight from her brain.
“Luna, give me a minute. That bastard never told me any of this! I don’t have a problem with these women—but that jerk went around conquering them one by one, feasting to his heart’s content. When I think back to how I fell into his clutches…”
Luna smiled teasingly.
“What? If you’d known, would you have stopped being with him?”
Nyx’s cheeks burned crimson as she snorted coldly.
Stopped?
Of course not.
If she hadn’t stayed with him, wouldn’t that just mean handing him over to everyone else?
Still, the sheer number left her reeling.
Just how much stamina did this man have?
She didn’t know whether to be furious or amused.
Lauren. Francesca. Aspen. Natasha. Chantelle. Rowan.
Andrew hadn’t expected to see all six of them gathered at the Lloyd family estate at once.
As he looked at their tearful faces—eyes red yet shining with uncontainable joy—his heart softened completely.
For a brief moment, the noise, the power struggles, the bloodshed, and the weight of the world faded away.
He was home.
