Far away in the Western Regions, atop a snowbound mountain, Julius remained utterly unruffled.

“And so what?” he said calmly. “Do I care about a few insects?”

Guillermo let out a cold snort. “He’s no insect anymore. Alfredo has already fallen to him.”

Julius gave a lazy hum. “And what does that prove? Only that Alfredo has grown weak. A so-called swordsman getting taken down?” He scoffed. “Stop wasting your breath trying to make me nervous. If you told me Reginald was returning, I might take notice. But Andrew?”

His voice dipped with disdain. “That brat isn’t worth my attention.”

Guillermo erupted. “Julius, I’m not joking! Your arrogance is going to get you killed one day!”

“Are you finished?” Julius replied indifferently. “If so, I need to return to my training.”

He continued coolly, “Killed? You spend your days scheming over petty worldly struggles. Fighting for influence, for control—does that really excite you?”

A pause.

“You and I are different. There may be countless paths in this world, but only one truth—power.”

His voice sharpened. “Absolute, overwhelming power that crushes everything else.”

“So what if you manipulate courts and command influence across the land?” Julius sneered. “My divine technique has advanced again. Forget Andrew being insignificant— even if that kid truly defied heaven and returned with real achievements, I could still crush him with one hand.”

The call ended.

Guillermo stared at his phone, his expression dark and unsettled.

Julius was no weaker than Alfredo—and the fact that he had advanced even further in just two years sent a chill through Guillermo’s spine.

He couldn’t allow these thorns at his side to grow unchecked.

But first, Andrew had to be dealt with.

Julius was a stubborn fool—obsessed with cultivation to the exclusion of all else. Cooperation was impossible.

Guillermo exhaled slowly, then dialed another number.

“Sir, I apologize for the disturbance,” he said smoothly. “This is Guillermo Vazquez…”

After several hours in the air, Andrew and his group finally landed at Chetvine Airport.

Returning to familiar ground stirred a flood of emotions.

Valerie and Luna were smiling brightly. “It feels amazing to be home,” Valerie said. “Those months in the Outlands were brutal.”

Luna turned to Andrew, smiling softly. “Honey, Valerie needs to go to the Reyes residence to see her parents. I’ll head back to the Lloyd estate with you.”

Andrew blinked. “You’re not returning to the military?”

A faint blush colored Luna’s cheeks. “No. I’m staying at the new house now—the one you built for us.”

Andrew’s face lit up. “The house I designed is finished?”

“Completely,” Luna said, joy shining in her eyes. “Ever since you left Holtrien, everyone poured their hearts into it. We wanted you to come home to warmth.”

Emotion welled in Andrew’s chest. He nodded firmly. “Then let’s go home first.”

Thoughts of his loved ones filled his mind, and for the first time, Guillermo no longer felt so urgent.

Nyx suddenly pouted. “Honey, ever since we arrived, you’ve barely looked at me. You’re only talking to Luna and the others. I don’t even know anyone here, and you haven’t asked how I’m doing.”

Andrew laughed softly, apologetic. “That’s on me. Sorry, sweetheart—I got distracted.”

He took her hand. “Come on. I’ll take you home. My home is your home. Trust me—you’ll love it.”

Luna stepped forward and said gently, “Nyx, we’re family now. You crossed thousands of miles to come to Holtrien, to Chetvine. We respect that. From now on, we’ll treat you like our own sister.”

Nyx smiled brightly. “Thank you, Luna. Though… I was mostly pretending to be pitiful.”

Franz laughed aloud. “Andrew, Luna, Valerie, Nyx—this is where we split up. I need to report to the military, then head to the Hearst residence. Conrad and Kyrie are coming with me.”

Andrew nodded. “Alright. We’ll see you soon, Mr. Hearst.”

They parted ways and left the airport—

Only for a grinning figure to swagger toward them.

“Well, well,” Jose drawled. “Welcome back to Chetvine, kid.”

He cracked his knuckles. “So what’ll it be? Do I break your legs myself, or do you turn around and crawl out of the city right now?”

Andrew didn’t even blink. To him, Jose might as well have been dust.

Nyx tilted her head, eyes full of disdain. “Honey, want me to handle him?”

She smiled faintly. “Sure, he’s just reached Martial God and learned a few tricks—but I could clean him up with one strike.”
