Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3175
The towering Azure Gate gradually came into view. After circling twice, the helicopters descended toward the ground. Franz had already secured clearance to enter the border, so Andrew’s group passed directly through the gate.
The military garrison stationed there stepped forward in formation and saluted.
“General Hearst, welcome back!”
Franz, who held the rank of Major General, returned the salute and said, “This is the leader of the Dragonfang organization—the Dragon Prince of Holtrien’s Lloyd family, Mr. Andrew Lloyd.”
The soldier’s expression immediately turned fervent as he snapped another salute.
“Mr. Andrew Lloyd, welcome home.”
The soldiers behind him stared at Andrew with burning eyes, unable to look away.
Nyx leaned closer and whispered with a smile, “Honey, you’re quite the celebrity in your country. You can tell just from their reactions.”
Andrew nodded to the soldiers in acknowledgment, then headed straight toward Swordhaven Keep.
Very few people officially knew of his return, but anyone who wanted to know could find out with minimal effort. Guillermo, that old fox ranked first on Holtrien’s Titan List, was certainly among them.
But so what if they knew?
Andrew wanted Guillermo to know he was coming. And there was nothing Guillermo could do about it. There would be no escape.
Swordhaven Keep was the gateway to Holtrien’s Eastern Regions. Its master was the famed Sword Saint, Alfredo Topsfield—one of the most self-important figures in the martial world. He had once been determined to compete with Reginald, only to be utterly crushed, his confidence shattered beyond repair.
Later, he had colluded with Guillermo and others in an attempt to ambush and kill Reginald. Even then, they had failed.
Arrogant and insufferable, Alfredo was like the sword he wielded—forever convinced he stood above everyone else. He did possess the strength to support that arrogance, but unfortunately for him, he was no longer worthy of Andrew’s regard.
Swordhaven Keep was as ostentatious as ever, with visitors arriving daily to pay their respects.
Andrew entered through the main gate with his three companions, followed by Franz, Conrad, and Kyrie.
A gatekeeping disciple stepped forward and demanded, “You there. State your business. Who are you here to see?”
Andrew didn’t even look at him. His reply was flat and calm.
“I’m here to see Alfredo Topsfield. I’ve come to ask whether he’s ready for his death.”
The disciple froze for a moment before flying into a rage.
“What did you say? Are you courting death?”
Andrew’s icy gaze swept over him.
The disciple instantly lost control of his bladder. His legs gave out, and he collapsed onto the ground, trembling uncontrollably. Terror flooded his heart.
He could not understand how a single glance could be so horrifying—like staring straight into the eyes of a demon.
A faint, mocking smile curved Andrew’s lips as he strode past, heading straight toward the higher grounds of Swordhaven Keep.
Midway, they encountered Alfredo’s son, Jericho.
“Wait—you look familiar…” Jericho frowned, then his expression changed violently.
“H-h-holy crap! Y-you’re Andrew?! You’ve got some nerve coming to Swordhaven Keep!”
He was so panicked that he began to stutter.
Andrew responded by slapping him.
Jericho’s eyes rolled back as he collapsed to the floor, knocked unconscious instantly.
“How annoying,” Andrew said coldly.
Nyx and the other women remained unfazed, but Conrad and Kyrie felt their throats tighten as shock surged through them. Jericho was no weakling—yet he had been taken down with a single slap.
Andrew’s current strength was simply terrifying.
Soon, the group reached the center of the great hall.
At the far end, a man sat on an elevated seat, chatting casually with several dignitaries from the Eastern Regions. His posture was lazy, his manner arrogant, impatience flickering across his face as though he were merely tolerating their presence.
It was Alfredo Topsfield.
The moment Andrew stepped into the hall, Alfredo glanced over casually—then his gaze met Andrew’s.
The faint mocking smile in Andrew’s eyes made Alfredo stiffen instantly.
He straightened at once. The laziness and impatience vanished, replaced by grim vigilance. His right hand clenched tightly around the longsword at his side.
“Everyone out,” Alfredo shouted sharply. “That’s enough for today!”
Though his voice was stern, a trace of panic lay hidden beneath it.
He knew the visitor had come with murderous intent.
And Swordhaven Keep was about to face a calamity.
