Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3172
In the end, Andrew’s voice rose sharply, his expression darkening as genuine fury flashed across his face.
Valerie grew anxious, her confidence wavering. Luna bit her lip and lowered her head, saying nothing. Nyx let out a cold snort, instinctively wanting to argue back—but the moment Andrew’s gaze snapped toward her, she fell silent.
A surge of grievance welled up inside her.
After all, he had never raised his voice at her before.
Still… at least he wasn’t singling her out. He was being just as harsh with those two rivals. That thought eased her heart slightly, even as the resentment lingered.
Seeing that his intimidation was working, Andrew felt a spark of triumph inside. Outwardly, however, his expression only grew more authoritative.
“Right now,” he said coldly, “I am the Lord of Throne City—the King of the Wastelands. No matter how you look at it, I’m a regional power, an extraordinary figure.”
His gaze swept over them.
“My three beloved ladies, there must be limits to jealousy and rivalry. Do you understand?”
“If you don’t,” he continued, “you won’t just undermine my dignity. You’ll make people think I’m nothing special.”
His tone hardened further.
“Soon, I’ll be returning home—to kill those who need killing and do what must be done. I need you united, holding the home front steady, not creating internal chaos that damages my reputation.”
He paused, then added firmly, “I’m a grown man. I have pride too. Got it?”
He glared at each of them in turn.
Valerie’s eyes reddened.
“Honey… don’t tell me that now you’re powerful, invincible, ruling the Outlands—you’ve started looking down on us. That you don’t care anymore?”
Luna turned her head away, letting out a bitter laugh.
“If you think Valerie and I embarrassed you, then why don’t we just leave right now?”
Nyx felt hurt and furious all at once.
“Ever since you came to the Outlands, I’ve been with you the whole time. I never left your side. I even… gave myself to you.”
Her voice trembled.
“Fine then, Andrew. You’re just ungrateful. Now that you’re successful and famous, you despise me too.”
Andrew was taken aback.
His goal had been to suppress their unrest—but instead of calming them down, he’d managed to wound all three at once.
This had backfired badly.
Clearing his throat, Andrew spoke more carefully.
“I’m not blaming you. I’m not scolding you.”
“I just want harmony. From now on, you’re all family. Understand?”
“When you get along, I can focus on my work with peace of mind.”
The three women looked at him, their expressions wounded but attentive.
Andrew straightened and spoke decisively.
“We’re resting together. No more fighting. No more arguing. I’ll decide how things are arranged.”
He pointed lightly.
“Nyx, walk on my left. Luna, Valerie—you two walk on my right.”
“We’re one family. No divisions. Let’s go to sleep.”
Nyx bit her lower lip.
“…Fine.”
Valerie and Luna said nothing, but obediently complied.
Inside, Andrew was secretly thrilled.
That’s right, he thought. I have to show them who’s in charge. If I can win the hearts of women like these, then I should be able to manage them too. Otherwise, attracting them without control just makes me a failure.
What Andrew didn’t know was that behind his back, Nyx, Valerie, and Luna were still silently competing.
Their eyes said it all.
Let’s see who wins tonight.
And so that night, Andrew—with his mortal body—was dragged into a fierce battle against three formidable enchantresses.
Each possessed profound strength, capable of draining even the strongest man. They were anything but easy opponents.
The struggle lasted from deep night until dawn. Andrew barely managed to subdue them one by one.
Fortunately, though mortal, his stamina rivaled the gods.
In the end, under Andrew’s persistence and resolve, everything finally settled—
and harmony was restored.
