Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3100

Andrew didn’t notice that the blood he had coughed up never reached the ground. Instead, it slowly seeped into the interior of Arcturus’ statue.

Suddenly, the statue trembled. The hand buried in Fenrir’s heart flared bright red.

That change immediately triggered a reaction from Fenrir’s statue. An even denser wave of dark aura surged out, growing increasingly violent as it cascaded down like a waterfall and swallowed Andrew whole. Yet the red glow was even more overwhelming.

In an instant, it transformed into thin strands of red lightning that poured from Arcturus’ hand. The lightning spread rapidly across Fenrir’s entire body, crackling and hissing. The dark aura froze for a split second before being swiftly dissolved. The pain on Andrew’s face finally eased.

    But a new crisis followed.

The black vortex in the sky had nearly descended to the ground. From within it, the phantom of a massive wolf’s head emerged—ferocious and savage beyond belief. It released a violent howl toward the earth.

That single howl sent Fenrir’s aura into a frenzy. The power within the statue surged dramatically and counterattacked Andrew, striking him instantly. The holy light in his hands dimmed to the brink of extinction.

Andrew’s heart sank. He knew all too well that once the holy light went out, Fenrir’s backlash would follow. Death—or at best, severe injury—would be inevitable. Even after a thousand years, the remnant statue and lingering dark energy of the first werewolf progenitor still possessed such terrifying power.

If Fenrir had been alive, the terror inspired by the original ancestor of the werewolves would have been beyond imagination.

Just as Andrew was about to lose his grip, the red lightning in Arcturus’ hand seemed to grow frantic. It flashed wildly, then suddenly burst forth, shooting out of Fenrir’s statue and straight into Andrew’s hand. It raced up his arm in an instant and surged directly into his mind.

Andrew’s consciousness flickered like a candle battered by a violent gale. His vision spun, and the world plunged into chaos.

When he finally regained awareness, he discovered a strand of red light within his body—something he could freely control. This red light was none other than Arcturus’ ultimate killing move, the very power that had slain Fenrir.

Andrew immediately understood what it was.

Arcturus’ Wrath—also known as Primordial Thunder.

At that moment, Fenrir’s dark aura still surrounded him, and danger loomed on all sides. Without hesitation, Andrew unleashed the red lightning outward. The white holy light in his left hand surged violently.

At the same time, the Primordial Thunder in his right hand struck out like a bolt from the heavens.

Two supreme powers collided head-on with Fenrir’s colossal ancestor statue. The surrounding dark aura let out a shrill, mournful wail—the howl of a giant wolf filled with pain, struggle, despair, terror, and boundless rage.

In an instant, the dark aura retreated, shrinking back into the statue. The massive black vortex in the sky collapsed and dispersed, revealing clear sky once more.

    Fenrir’s statue began to shatter.

    One piece. Two pieces. Three.

Fragments broke away endlessly until, with a thunderous crash, the statue completely disintegrated before Andrew’s eyes.

Immediately afterward, Arcturus’ statue shattered as well. Tiny points of red light flew out from within, circling briefly in the air before merging into Knox’s body.

Though it sounded complex, everything had happened within just a few breaths.

    All darkness was gone.

Within the forbidden ground of the Highland Tribe, the two ancestor-level beings that had been entangled for a thousand years were reduced to dust. A feud spanning an entire millennium seemed to have finally reached its end in the unseen beyond.

Nyx rushed forward, supporting Andrew as she asked with concern, “How do you feel?”

Andrew closed his eyes and focused inward. He could clearly sense a strand of red lightning within his body—remarkable in nature, as though it had already fused seamlessly with his flesh and blood.
