Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 2739
Over the next two days, Andrew focused entirely on studying the Owens family’s Sacred Heart Method. It was a high-grade cultivation technique, extraordinarily difficult to comprehend.
Fortunately, Andrew was no ordinary martial artist. He quickly grasped its core principles and began practicing it.
The results shocked him.
The energy in his core surged violently, yet it felt strangely lively and harmonious. Even so, he stayed cautious, constantly monitoring himself for any hidden side effects.
Two days passed.
To his surprise, there was no discomfort at all.
Instead, the dragon tattoo on his chest began to burn faintly.
Andrew lifted his shirt to check—and his eyes lit up.
The Blood-Eyed Black Dragon, which had already been mostly activated, now reacted even more intensely under the Sacred Heart Method. It was as if he had consumed some rare, miraculous herb.
Even the final portion of the tattoo—the tiny section of the tail—lit up completely.
That meant the totem on his chest had fully awakened.
The sight filled Andrew with genuine excitement.
He immediately went to Donovan and told him everything without holding anything back.
Donovan was stunned. “Are you serious?”
Before Andrew could respond, Donovan abruptly grabbed his shirt and pulled it up again. The moment he saw the fully transformed totem, he gasped, his eyes filled with disbelief.
Sheena stepped closer. “Grandpa, you once said the Lloyd family totem is extremely important. Throughout history, only four people have fully awakened it—three were Lloyd family ancestors, and the last was the founder of our bloodline. Now Andrew has done it too. What makes it so special?”
Donovan let out a long breath and shook his head. “I honestly don’t know the full truth. But the Lloyd family totem is critically important. It’s tied to a massive part of our past.”
He turned to Andrew. “Andrew, I can’t give you much of an explanation. If you want to uncover everything about the Blood-Eyed Black Dragon, you’ll have to ask Reginald.”
Andrew nodded. “Don’t worry, Patriarch Donovan. I’ll ask him when I get the chance.”
Sheena leaned in, curiosity written all over her face. “Andrew, now that your totem is fully awakened, do you feel different? Has your combat strength increased drastically?”
Andrew shook his head. “Strangely enough, I don’t really feel much stronger.”
