It has been weeks, almost two months, and there have been no attacks or sightings of rouges. And all this is making Dad worried, and he says it’s like the silence before a big storm.

Madeleine had another heat, but was over just as quick as the first one. Dr. Kendra says it will happen more often because we suppress it for now.

Madeleine is training hard with Greta and Mom, and I’ve been told it’s working. She is learning to use and control her powers, both for the harmless use and also for protection and attacks. And it calms me down, knowing she has a chance to protect herself. It doesn’t change the fact that I have three warriors always protecting her.

It would kill me if she got hurt, so I will do anything to make sure that she is safe.

I have myself been training, partly with our warriors, but I have also used time to learn more about who I am. I am powerful, I know that, but I am also worried about that, not wanting to hurt anyone innocent.

I am standing at the training center ripping apart the boxing bag, and I do that a lot these days.

When something sudden moves in my mind, it’s not Dad or Enzo, neither is it Mom or Madeleine. No, this feels different, and then I hear the powerful voice of the moon goddess in my head.

‘They are coming.’ It’s all I hear, and the feeling is gone. Immediately, I mindlink everyone on warrior patrol.

‘Keep your eyes open, they are coming.’ I ordered and left the mindlink without waiting for an answer.

‘Madeleine, baby, go to safety now.’ I mindlink her. I feel her fear, but her answer comes fast.

‘Okay, stay safe.’ She replies, and our mindlink close.

‘Dad, get Mom and the twins to the bunker now.’ I tell Dad and do not wait for an

answer.

‘Enzo,’ is all I managed to say before he answered.

‘Rise and Antonio going down now, on my way.’ He says, and the link closes. I hear the new alarm for the castle and know everyone there is now on their way to safety as well.

I open a wide mindlink now so everyone can hear me.

‘Get to safety, away from the streets to the protection rooms, and warriors get ready. You all know where to be. NO ONE LEAVES THEIR PROTECTION. Unless I, my Beta, or my father, or his Beta tell that can.’ I put an order in on the last part.

The bunkers are safe and safer than ever before. So I need everyone to stay there. I run towards the field, changing into Lucians’ powerful form.

I am at the castle already, so I run out into the hall and turn on the new alarm while I hear Noah giving his orders. Then I ran to the library im

Behind the door is a tunnel. It’s dark, but that doesn’t mean a thing for a wolf. I slowly walk through it until reach the door I need to open with my finger. I press my finger on the panel, and the door opens, revealing Olivia, but also Rose, and Anna and, Kate, and the kids.

“Thank goddess, I was getting worried. Olivia says and hugs me.

“I’m sorry, I had to start the castle alarm. I hope everyone there followed the rules

and always has been near the castle.” I say as I hug her back.

“It is okay as long you are safe,” Olivia says, and we all go into the joining room that has been set up for us all.

I know Noah would not have sent me here if he wasn’t sure that this was it. The war is about to get the final battle.

I try to mindlink him, but he doesn’t answer, and that’s okay. I hate not knowing what is happening. But I believe in him, and he is stronger, stronger than any King has ever been.

So I sit and keep using Lily to make sure we can feel him and Lucian, and it

makes me relax when I feel that she isn’t worried.

It is quiet for a long time, so I get a shock when Lily growls in my head, and it is so

unexpected I let the growl out for all to hear.

“What’s happening?” Rose asks. And I ask Lily.

‘They are here.” Lily growls, and I look at the others.

“They are here,” I say, and they get quiet.
