Alpha’s Second Chance Chapter 293

“Will it always feel like this?” Madeleine asks me.

“Will what feel like this?” I ask teasingly.

We are lying in bed, resting after just being intimate, and I have Madeleine in my arms.

“You know what I mean.” She says,

“I believe and hope it will. Because I have never felt like this.” I tell her and kiss

her temple.

“You mean that?” She asks.

I know she is asking because she knows I have been with other girls. I sit up and pull her up, too, so that I can look into her eyes.

“Madeleine, I regret having been with others. I wish I had waited. But I didn’t, and that was my punishment. No, it was never like, it was never feelings, it was never a cuddle. It was just a stupid need for sex to prove I could do it. This is. It is not just sex. It’s our feelings, our love, and I love that we have this. And I never want to lose that because you are the most important person in my life.” I tell her seriously, and she smiles at me before kissing me.

“I love you, Noah.” She whispers.

“I love you too,” I tell her.

It had been two weeks since she moved in here with me, and I understand now what my parents have. I can regret my past, but I cannot change it. Only prove to her every day that I am hers, only hers.

Today is the day when her parents and their pack will move to the new land Dad gave them. I know today will be a little hard for Madeleine and her family. But they won’t be far away, only 3 hours in the car.

And with Juliette staying here, it will be easier for Madeleine. It is good they have each other. I was shocked to find out Gina was Juliette’s mate. But everything turned out just how it should, and Gina deserves to be happy, too. So I’m happy for her.

“We better get ready, my love,” I tell her softly, and she agrees.

We get out of bed and go to the bathroom to shower together. After we are done, we both get dressed and ready to leave the castle.

MADELEINE

Noah is excellent, and he always ensures I know he loves me. We have spent a lot of time together in the last few weeks. He and Beta Enzo train every morning, and I want to become a better fighter. Noah smiled and told me I could train with his sister and Mom. Juliette and Gina joined us, Noah’s twins and aunt. His mom was amazing, and I learned a lot.

Noah’s Mom, Liv, also spent a little time with me to research my “gift,” and we found some old scrolls. She told me that if I was ready, she would be happy to help me, and I thought I would need it.

Hand in hand, Noah and I leave the castle and go there where Dad’s pack is. Dad, Mom, and my brothers are already here for the buses that will drive the pack to the new place. Noah’s Dad and Mom are here too, and the same is Noah’s Beta Enzo.

Dad and Mom hug me, and not long after, Juliette arrives, and they hug her, too.

“My girls, it is not easy to say goodbye,” Mom says.

“It is not goodbye, Jeanne. I will make sure we visit so much you get tired of us,” Noah promises with a chuckle, and Dad laughs.

“You are a good man, Noah,” Mom says and hugs him.

“I am happy you think so. Because I will do all I can to make her happy and safe.” He promises again.

Blaise and Beau, hugs Juliette and me. Then we realize Logan, Liv, and Enzo had helped the pack into the busses. And warriors were packing trucks with whatever baggage they were having.

“It is time, my girls. Be good, and we see each other soon.” Dad says and hugs us again.

“See you, Dad and Mom. Soon.” I say as Mom hugs us.

“We love you,” Mom says.

“We love you too.” Juliette and I say at the same time. Then they go into the car they were given.

I feel Noah put his arms around me and hold me. Juliette takes my hand, and we stand like this, watching our parents, and our old pack leave.

When they are gone, I look ateine

sister, who has tears just like me. We hug each other, and I am happy she is here with me.

“Where’s Gina?” I ask.

“Work,” the girl supposed to cover for her didn’t come. So Gina had to go dr. Kendra needed her. And I am going there now, too.” Juliette says, smiling, and I nod my head.

Juliette had decided to work at the hospital with Gina. And Doctor Kendra had been happy to agree.

Everything was working out as it

should, and everyone was happy. It’s made me glad to know that the future looks bright. I wasn’t sure about what I wanted to do yet, but Liv also told me that some days’ Noah would need help from his queen. So, for now, I am focusing on learning what is expected of me as his queen.

We also yet have to have the official ceremony to crown me. Noah said it had to

be done, so Liv is learning me what I need to know and planning the ceremony.
