“Of course, I will listen,” I promise her.

“But that is a good thing,” I say, and she nods her head.

“But it made me realize something.” She whispers and comes close enough to kiss me.

It had surprised him that I, just like that, accepted him. But I knew it was what I wanted, and I realized that I had felt drawn to him since we first met at the ball. And I love him, I admitted to myself.
