I rushed into the Castle and towards the office where Noah was waiting. I felt his power, and it felt heavy, so I knew he had to be frustrated, and that’s not a good thing. I reached the office and walked in just as I heard Logan say my name from down the hall. I looked and saw both him and Liv, as well as Kyle, coming, and we all walked in together.

Noah was pacing around in the office anxiously and looked up when we stepped in and looked at us.

“I am going to France.” He said with determination.

“What is going on,” I ask. It was four months ago, and we talked at home in my kitchen. I say Noah looks at Logan, and he nods.

“Alpha Louis pack was erased this morning. Only a handful of his pack, including Louis and his family, are left.” Logan says seriously, and I’m shocked.

“What?” I whisper.

I sit down, shocked, not knowing what to say. Alpha Louis had been the biggest of the packs in France, and his pack had more than two thousand pack members.

“We need to go there! Word is those that attacked are still looking for the rest. We need to help.” Noah says.

“I already called to make the private plane ready, and a transport one for three hundred warriors,” Logan says.

“I’ll sign up those of mine that are ready to go. That’s about seventy-five. I say six with me. Do we know where Louis is?” I ask.

“Yes, he is in an old shelter at the neighbor pack. They offered him to stay in the pack, but he doesn’t want to bring them more danger,” Logan says, and Noah growls.

“Planes are ready in an hour.” Logan says.

“Then we leave in three,” Noah says. And no one disagrees because we can all feel him on edge.

“We all go get ready, Enzo. Go tell Rose and get her and Antonio to stay at our house. Mindlink fifty of your warriors and tell them to get ready. Kyle, we will let yours stay with the rest of Enzo’s. And I want you here, in my place. Liv baby you are in charge, while I’m gone. I’ll get the other two hundred and fifty warriors put together and ready.” Logan says.

“Yes, my king,” Kyle says and Liv nods her head.

“Noah go get ready,” Logan says. And he nods, even in the state he is in right now he listens to his dad.

“Kyle, ask Greta to strengthen our defenses and double the patrols.” Logan finish. We all do as told, and I rush home to find Rose in Antonio’s room.

“What is happening? I felt your shock, and I can feel Noah.” She asks right away. Looking tired, she had just been in heat, and it ended only two days ago.

“We go to France, Noah, your Dad, and I, plus three hundred warriors. Alpha Louis’s pack was attacked, and only a few hundred left.” I tell her, and she sits down.

“What. But you said his pack was big, with thousands of pack members.” She whispers.

“Yes,” I whisper back as I sit down on my knees in front of her.

“I need you and Antonio to go stay with your mom until I’m back. Please.” I tell her and she nods her head.

“Okay. But promise you be safe.” She whispers.

“I’m sorry, that I have to do this now, just after you had your heat,” I whisper and kiss her.

“I know, we will be fine.” She answers and kisses my back before I get up and leave to see my warriors.

I can’t believe it. It seems surreal that so many had died, but thank the Goddess

for those who survived.

I packed a bag for Enzo with

everything he would need, and then some stuff for Antonio and me for

our stays at Mom’s. Then I went to

get Antonio, and we met them all at the house.

I see Mom and the twins waiting outside the house, too, and Mom takes Antonio from me when I reach them.

“They will be here soon. I had your room get ready.” Mom tells me and I hug her. And then the twins hug me.

“They will all be okay,” I say. And they nod their heads.

“Mom says that Enzo told her you are still very tired. We will help you look after Antonio.” They say insane time.

“Thank you,” I tell them.

“There they are,” Mom says, and I look in the other direction.

They are all coming here and when they reach us, Enzo burry me in his arms holding me close. None of us say anything. But we just hold each other tightly because we already know what the other is feeling.

‘We will be back soon.’ He says softly in our mindlink.

‘I know, but please be careful.’ I answer.

‘I will, I promise.’ He says and kisses me.

“We have to go,” Dad says, and Enzo slowly lets go.

“I know it’s hard right now so close after the heat. But everything will be okay.”

Dad promised and gave me a fast hug.

Everyone hugs each other and then they leave, Enzo turns around before they shift, and sends me a kiss in the air.
