I felt the power flow into me and merge with my soul and spirit of Rocky. It didn’t

hurt, but it was a little bit overwhelming.

‘Rocky?’ I asked carefully.

‘I’m here.” Rocky answered me.

‘I feel good, more powerful. But good. And standing on two legs feels weird.’

‘I feel that this is a good thing.’ I say.

‘You right, it is definitely a good thing, I can even talk to Lucian.’ Rocky says letting me know he can talk to Noah’s Lycan.

‘That is a big thing Rocky but a good one.’ I agree with him.

After a little while, I felt us shifting again, and I was back in my human form, fully clothed. I look up and at Rose who’s miles proud of me, and I smile back at her.

“I think tonight had more excitement than anyone here had expected,” Noah says and a peal of laughter spread in the ballroom.

“It will soon be midnight. And for tradition, I want to invite everyone who wishes, to join me and my family for a run. The forests and the mountains are kept safe with extra warriors at our borders.” Noah continues.

The room got busy, and that’s when I saw another guest come over to greet us. Alpha Louis was here, along with his daughter. They both smiled and Noah looked at me.

“My king, this is Alpha Louis, the French Alpha who assisted us in the matter of the paternity test we needed. And this is his daughter, and I’m sorry I can’t remember your name.” I say, directing the last part to the girl.

“Madeleine, Beta.” She says as she curtesy for both of us.

“My king, Beta. It is an honor to be here. And I just wanted to tell you, from me and the other French Alphas, that you have our support, too.” Alpha Louis says and bows.

“Alpha, welcome, and thank you. Also, thank you for your help when our family needed it. Will you both join us for the run?” Noah ask.

“I will, My king. Madeleine is not yet eighteen, so she doesn’t have a wolf yet. My older daughter just lost her mate in a rouge attack so my mate and Luna stayed home” Alpha Louis explained.

“I am deeply sorry to hear that. I hope she will fight through it. And your daughter here is more than welcome to wait here or outside if she wants. I assure you she will be safe.” Noah says, friendly.

“Thank you, my king,” Louis says, and he and his daughter bow again before leaving.

“I will never get used to the bowing.” I chuckle and Noah laughs.

“After tonight, I understand why Dad hates it when people say my king,” Noah says and we both laugh.

“Are you Okay, Noah?” I ask and look at him, and he looks at me with a small nod.

“Am I perfectly good? No, but I am okay. I know my decision was the right one.” He answers.

“Let me know if you need a fight.” I offer and he chuckles.

“Will do, thank you,” Noah says before he starts going towards the doors.

“Thank you, Enzo and Rocky too. For doing what you did before the best service possible for Noah.” A voice says, and I turn and see Liv and Rose waiting, along with Kate and Anna.

“No need to thank me; we would have done what was needed, anytime,” I say as Rose walks into my arms, and I lock them around her.

“Did Kaila calm down?” I ask her.

“Yes, and she is so proud of you and Rocky. Even if she has to share him with Lucian.” She says and smiles.

Liv and the others looked at us with questions in their eyes, and I explained to them that Rocky and Lucian could communicate. They were stunned at first, but then Liv smiled and hugged me.

“You are truly a blessing in our family Enzo.” She says and I smile letting go of Rose and hugging Liv back.

The women walk towards the doors, but Rose stays with me and waits to see if everyone has left the room. When they are all gone, we thank the omegas that are coming in and start cleaning.

When we get outside, we go to stand with the family waiting for us. And we see people starting to undress before they shift, and

seeing each other naked is not a

problem as we wolves are used to it.

“I will use my wolf tonight so I can run with Rose and Kaila,” I tell them, and they

smile.

“That’s fine,” Logan says, and I get ready to shift.

“Everyone, let’s run,” Logan yells.

Rose and I both shift, and Rocky and Kaila start running into the forest. They run playfully snapping and attacking each other and having a good time. We don’t get the chance to run like this as much as we would have loved to. While our wolves were our

running, we talked throud

And we talked about the battle, and I made sure she knew she was worth everything, and that I would gladly have fought an entire pack. I would have fought Noah if it meant I would
