Alpha’s Second Chance Chapter 204

I wake up after a night with the most strange dreams and a feeling as if someone was keeping an eye on me. I try to shake the feeling off by saying it is just because I know I’m going into the other territory today, and I go to get my stuff ready.

After getting dressed, I grab my stuff and the plate from last night and walk into the main building to find breakfast. Walking in there, I have the same feeling as yesterday: as if something is pulling at me. Looking around, I still don’t see anything or anyone, which could be the reason for this.

So I walk through the doors where it says, Dining Hall, And Anete spots me right away.

“Good morning, Miss Rose. Ooh, silly girl. You should just have left the plate in your room, but thank you.” She says, takes the plate, and puts it on a table for used plates and stuff.

“It’s okay. This was the least I could do,” I say and smile at her.

“Come meet, Elio. I’ll bring you breakfast,” she says, and I follow her to a table where an old man is sitting.

“Miss Rose, this is Elia, my mate and husband. And in this town, Alpha Leo’s right hand.” Anete tells me proudly.

“Hello, Sir. It is a pleasure to meet you,” I said with a smile. The man smiled back.

“Just call me Elio, child. We’re happy to be of any help. I know a big part of the northern part of the second territory, and I have promised Alpha Leo that I will help you find the safest route I know of.” Elio says and smiles.

“Thank you very much, I appreciate that,” I say and sit down.

For the next hour, I eat and listen carefully to what Elio tells me and shows me on the map. When we are done, I feel like there isn’t much more I can do to prepare my trip for the next four to five days. I have been told to avoid the forests and try not to draw too much attention to myself while I am there.

When I am ready, I stand up, take my bag on, say goodbye to Anete and Elio, and say thank you. They both wish me a safe trip.

When I leave the hotel and walk through the lobby, I again feel like I am being pulled to something or someone, but again, I don’t see anything. So I walk out and start walking down the road that Elio told me to, and I find the place where you step out of the town. It is very easy to see and find, as two warriors stand guard. I bow my head in respect, and they let me walk through without stopping

me.

It was very easy to feel that I stepped into another territory. I mean, everything still looked so beautiful, but there was an entirely different atmosphere. Everything seemed more quiet, even the birds.

I look as the road splits in three and

find my map to look at to be sure I take the right one, and when I am sure I start walking. Elio had said to avoid San Marina and also Firenze as those two big towns were the worst for a stranger to go atone if you are a wolf.

After walking all day, I made it halfway to the first town on the

coast opposite San Marino. This small place has no hotel, so I walk a little outside the town and find a place outside the town that is still not in the forest. But covered by high bushes so I will still be hidden, and won’t be easy to find. So decide to stay here for the night. I find my sleeping bag and eat a little of the food I have left from the bag with the food Anete gave me.

Maybe it is because of everything I have been told about this territory, but I do not sleep that night. I lay in my sleeping bag all night, awake, feeling as if someone is keeping an eye on me, and truth be told, it makes me nervous.

So as soon as it starts to get light again, I eat more food and hurry to pack my sleeping bag and leave. While I just waited, I decided that I wouldn’t stop until I

made it to Santo Stefano. Even if I have to walk after it gets dark, I’ll keep walking.

She stayed right there on the ground all night. I was going crazy in my mind— what if something had happened? I had been in wolf form all night, staying awake to make sure she was safe. There was no way that I could sleep knowing my mate could be in danger.

As far as I could tell she didn’t sleep either, and as soon as the darkness started to light up she packed and started walking again. I followed her at a distance, just like I had since she had left the hotel yesterday. There was no way I would have been able not to. Knowing she wasn’t going to be safe in this territory, I had to protect her.

I had been observing her, and all I had found out about her was that she had a warm and kind heart. I saw her helping an older human woman yesterday. She cares about other people, even when she doesn’t know them.

Rocky was so sure that she was the right one for us, but I told him, what if she didn’t want to live here? And Rocky said that the answer was simple, we would go with her. After thinking about it, I knew he was right. I would follow her anywhere.

I decided not to show myself just yet, but for now, just keep her safe. And admire her from a distance for just a little while more.

So here I am, following her as she walks down the roads. And I can not help but admire her amazing ass.
