    Chapter 2700

    “Logan!”

Grace’s cry tore through the battlefield like shattered glass. Her heart clenched painfully—she could feel the suffocating gulf between Aukon and the three Logan had already defeated. This wasn’t just another opponent. This was a force that could crush worlds.

Without hesitation, she reached for the small jade bottle hidden close to her heart. The weight of it sent a jolt through her—this was no ordinary medicine. Before she’d left the palace, the old servant by her father’s side had given it to her in secret, his tone grave.
It was the Nine-Turn Rejuvenation Pill, a royal treasure so rare that even the empire itself couldn’t replace it.

Grace rushed through the crackling air toward Logan. The pressure radiating from him was suffocating, yet she didn’t care. She dropped to her knees beside him and pressed the warm bottle into his cold, blood-slicked hand.

“Take it,” she said, her voice firm despite the trembling in it. “Now. It’s your only chance!”

Logan felt the divine energy pulsing inside the jade bottle—the power of endless life force, vast as the stars themselves. Even before he opened it, he knew: this was no simple elixir. Its value was beyond comprehension.

He looked up. Grace’s eyes were fierce with worry, unwavering in their faith. Without another word, he uncorked the bottle and swallowed the pill—a gleaming sphere of seven-colored light, the size of a longan.

It melted instantly, not like fire, but like soft spring rain.
    Gentle. Pure.
It flowed through his cracked meridians, soaked into his fading dantian, and eased the storm within his wounded soul.

The pill’s essence worked like a master craftsman’s hand—mending hidden injuries, knitting broken essence, breathing life back into what was nearly dead.

He couldn’t reach his full strength again, not yet—but his fading aura steadied. His heartbeat roared back to life. Two, maybe three tenths of his power returned. A warm current spread through every inch of him.

Logan exhaled—long and heavy. The breath shimmered faintly with medicinal light.
He straightened, spine unbending, standing tall once more—like a man who could carry heaven and earth on his shoulders.

    Then he lifted his head.

His gaze met Aukon’s cold, divine stare.
    And against all reason—he smiled.
A faint, cutting smile of defiance.

“Throughout my life,” Logan said, his voice steady and cold, “I’ve revered Heaven and Earth above, honored my parents below, and walked with a righteous heart in between. But I’ve never learned to kneel to parasites who steal the power of creation just to prolong their rot.”

His eyes sharpened, his words like blades.
“Your power reeks of decay and despair. Your so-called immortality is a tumor feeding on the wounds of the Void Dragon itself. You want my soul? Stop talking. Come and take it.”

Aukon’s expression froze—then shattered. Fury consumed the immortal’s mask of calm.

    “Stubborn fool! Courting death!”

With a roar, he thrust out his right hand.
Five fingers pressed together—bursting with blinding white-gold light.

    “Sky-Splitting Slash!”

A faint, razor-thin white-gold thread sliced through the void between them—soundless, merciless.

Where it passed, space itself ripped open, leaving behind a black scar that refused to heal. No explosion, no blinding flare—just absolute, silent destruction. Its sharpness was so pure it made even watching souls tremble.

Logan’s pupils shrank. Every instinct screamed death!
He launched himself sideways, body dissolving into a blur of green smoke.

    A hiss cut the air—
and where he had stood, a massive jade pillar—thick enough for five men to encircle—split clean in two.

The top half slid down slowly, revealing a mirror-smooth cut before crashing to the ground with a deep, echoing thud. The fracture sparked with gold energy, sizzling like molten metal devouring the air.

    But Aukon didn’t stop.

Even as Logan dodged, breath ragged, the immortal’s left hand clenched. A cold, dark-gold flame burst from his fist—its light warped, eerie, and deadly.

    “Fire-Burning God Fist!”

The flames didn’t fly straight—they spread like a living net, expanding outward to fill the entire hall, trapping Logan from every direction.

Above the golden net, countless twisted wraiths took shape—silent, tormented souls writhing and howling in mute agony. The air vibrated with death. Space itself folded and collapsed where the flames passed, snuffing out light and leaving behind only creeping void.

    No way out.

Logan roared—a sound that split the oppressive silence. He poured every drop of power the Rejuvenation Pill had given him, along with the last of his mystical essence, into his sword.

The blade blazed to life—an ocean of blue light, dense and unyielding. The air hummed with energy as layer upon layer of sword aura coalesced, forming a massive barrier inscribed with flowing Tai Chi patterns.

    “Profound Purity Limitless Wall!”

    BOOM!

The dark-gold fire net slammed into the azure light wall.
There was no explosion—only a low, chilling sound, like a million souls crying out in silence.

The barrier trembled violently. The Tai Chi symbols spun faster, straining to dissolve the divine flames’ annihilating power.

    Then—

    Crack.

A spiderweb of fissures spread across the wall, the azure glow flickering under the weight of destruction.
