Chapter 2608
Tristan looked in the direction Milton pointed and saw a brilliant white light streaking across the sky at lightning speed.
The light tore a long trail through the air, slicing through clouds like a blade.
In just two breaths, the glowing figure soared over the port. The fierce wind it brought with it rocked the helicopter.
Once the sea winds calmed down, Tristan looked up.
Hovering just a few meters ahead was a man in white.
Even from this close, with his sharp eyesight, Tristan couldn’t make out the man’s face.
It was like looking through a haze—as if something invisible blocked the view.
“Milton, can you see what he looks like?” Tristan asked.
Milton shook his head. “No, he’s definitely hiding his appearance on purpose.”
“He’s deliberately concealing his identity,” Tristan said with a hint of disappointment.
He’d hoped to get a good look at this legendary expert. But of course, it made sense. A hermit of this caliber wouldn’t want his life disturbed. If it weren’t for the disasters in the southern frontier, he probably would never have appeared at all.
Still, one thing was certain—this man was on their side.
As long as he fought for the people, Tristan felt safe.
“My Lord, he’s using magic. We should probably back off,” Milton warned.
“Pull back one meter,” Tristan ordered right away.
Given what this man could do, staying too close was dangerous.
At this point, all Tristan could do was watch and stay out of the way.
Below them, the zombie horde continued surging forward. Only a few suicide squad members remained, surrounded and overwhelmed by the mass of undead.
Every member of those squads had risked their lives to lure the zombies here.
And now, one by one, they were falling—infected and absorbed into the horde.
Their sacrifice wasn’t in vain.
More than a dozen brave souls had given their lives to bring the zombies together.
Martyrs who died for the safety of the country.
“So many infected in just one night?” Logan murmured above.
He frowned as he gazed down at the ocean of undead swarming the port.
Wugang’s situation was already worse than Pucheng’s.
And this was the least affected of the three major cities.
The thought of what might be happening in Linche and Liyanche made Logan’s expression darken.
“Let’s just do what we can,” he said quietly.
Without wasting another second, Logan reached out to the sea and summoned the power of heaven and earth.
Crash!
The ocean surged with a thunderous roar.
Waves began to rise.
From five to ten… to dozens of meters tall.
A towering wave roared into the sky, growing taller with each passing second.
Tristan, still watching from the helicopter, was stunned.
The chopper hovered just a few meters above sea level. But now the ocean was rising—fast.
The waves kept climbing until they surpassed the height of the helicopter.
“Pull up! Pull up! Another three meters back!” Tristan shouted in a panic.
The pilot didn’t dare hesitate. He immediately lifted the chopper two more meters and retreated several kilometers.
There was no choice. These waves weren’t normal.
They were over a hundred meters tall.
The pressure alone was enough to crush concrete—and obliterate anything in its path.
“My God! He raised a wave that high in one go?!” Tristan exclaimed, swallowing hard. “That’s insane!”
The whirlpool from before had already been terrifying.
But this? This was on another level.
The sky darkened beneath the towering wall of water. The sheer scale of it was beyond comprehension.
“This is the power of an immortal on earth,” Milton said, trembling. “He moves the heavens and commands the sea—like a god!”
He’d seen many things in his life.
But never this.
This wasn’t human power anymore.
“Fall.”
As Logan raised the ocean to its peak, he suddenly pressed downward with both hands.
And the tsunami—now a mountain of water over ten stories tall—came crashing down like the fist of the gods.
