    Chapter 2434

Dustin had boarded his flight back to Oakvale.

His trip to Sacred Wyrm Summit had been filled with twists and turns. From the intense martial arts competition to the unexpected invasion of the Pantheon, the journey had been fraught with danger. But despite the challenges, the outcome was undeniably rewarding.

Dustin had not only claimed victory in the martial arts competition but also secured three Dracan essences. To top it off, he thwarted the Pantheon’s conspiracy. It was, by all accounts, a near-perfect conclusion.

After bidding farewell to his newfound friends, Dustin and Grace boarded the return flight together.

Out of the five Dracan essences, four had now been collected. Only one remained.

According to Grace’s information, the last essence had already been located—in Oakvale. However, the specific individual who possessed it was still unknown.

Grace suspected it might be connected to the three princes. With the crown prince’s position still undecided, competition among the princes was fierce. Whoever obtained the Dracan essence would undoubtedly gain an edge, as its legendary good fortune could boost their chances of becoming the royal heir.

But Dustin wasn’t concerned about their power struggles. His focus was on the essence itself and the rumor surrounding it.

If he could gather all five Dracan essences, he’d have a real shot at ascending to the supreme land of the fairyland—a lifelong dream for any warrior. For Dustin, achieving this pinnacle was his ultimate goal.

By afternoon, the plane landed in Oakvale.

After a quick farewell to Grace, Dustin headed straight to Dash Corporation.

The company had been founded by Natasha, with Dustin as one of its investors. To him, Dash Corporation symbolized their shared love and commitment.

Since moving to Oakvale, Dustin had spent very little time with Natasha. Their moments together had been few and far between, as his mission to uncover the truth and gather the Dracan essences had consumed his time.

The past few months had been grueling: betrayal by Cinna, Seth Hughes’s tragic sacrifice, the turmoil in West Lucozia, and the relentless pursuit of the Dracan essences. Dustin’s heart was weary, his soul heavy.

After leaving Sacred Wyrm Summit, all he wanted was to return home. And the person he longed to see most was Natasha.

To him, Natasha was his safe harbor—the one person who could make all his worries fade away. She was the only one before whom he allowed himself to be vulnerable.

At that moment, Natasha was in the chairman’s office at Dash Corporation.

Dressed in a sharp, professional suit, her long hair was casually tied back, revealing her elegant and flawless face. She was reviewing documents with intense focus, her beauty radiant and captivating.

Even her assistant, a striking woman carefully chosen for her looks, abilities, and demeanor, couldn’t help but marvel at Natasha.

Though the assistant was impressive in her own right, Natasha’s presence left her feeling overshadowed. In her heart, Natasha had become an idol—a standard of perfection she could only dream of achieving.

She often wondered: what kind of man could possibly be worthy of someone like Natasha Harmon?

After finishing her review, Natasha nodded in approval. “The plan looks good. Let’s move forward with it,” she said calmly. “Also, remind everyone to take breaks when needed. Bonuses for overtime are fine, but working to the point of exhaustion isn’t worth it. Health comes first.”

The assistant, momentarily lost in admiration, stared at Natasha, completely forgetting to respond.

“Hmm? Is something wrong?” Natasha asked, lifting her gaze.

Snapping back to reality, the assistant blushed and stammered, “N-no, nothing’s wrong.”

Natasha smiled faintly. “If you’re feeling overwhelmed, take a few days off to rest,” she said gently.

“No, I’m fine. Sorry, Ms. Harmon, I just got distracted,” the assistant replied, embarrassed.

“Alright. Carry on,” Natasha said with a nod, returning to her work.

As Dash Corporation grew more successful, Natasha had to be increasingly cautious. The more the business flourished, the more demanding her responsibilities became.

For a woman running a company in Oakvale—a place rife with fierce competition—it wasn’t easy. While some treated her kindly out of respect for her grandfather, Natasha knew their goodwill was fleeting.

The political landscape in Oakvale was about to shift dramatically. Once a new king took the throne, her grandfather’s influence would wane, and the dynamics would change entirely.

Natasha was determined to expand her network and solidify her position before the tides turned. She had no intention of being caught unprepared in the chaos.

As the assistant turned to leave, she suddenly froze.

A tall, handsome man had walked into the office. He had sharp eyebrows, striking eyes, and a perfectly balanced, athletic build. There was something about him—his aura, his presence—that immediately drew attention.

In his hands, he carried a bouquet of flowers. Meeting the assistant’s surprised gaze, he raised a finger to his lips, signaling her to stay quiet.

With a mischievous grin, he approached Natasha silently.

The assistant stood there, stunned, momentarily forgetting to warn her boss.

“What is it now?” Natasha muttered, sensing someone’s approach. Without looking up, she assumed it was her assistant.

Before she could react further, a bouquet of flowers was placed in front of her.

The rich, sweet scent made her pause. Frowning slightly, she looked up—and froze.

Her eyes widened in disbelief as she took in the face she had missed so deeply. For a moment, she thought she was imagining things. She rubbed her eyes and looked again.

The man standing before her was real.

“Husband! You’re finally back!” Natasha cried, her voice trembling with emotion.

Tears streamed down her face as she jumped to her feet and threw herself into Dustin’s arms, clinging to him tightly.
