Chapter 2430
Arion’s sudden reappearance left everyone frozen in shock.
Wide-eyed and dumbfounded, they exchanged confused glances.
“What is this?!”
“Arion’s dead! How is this possible?!”
Some whispered the unthinkable: was it a ghost?
The sight of him standing there shattered their understanding of reality. The impossible had happened.
“You… you’re not dead? How can this be?!”
The blood demon William was the most rattled. He distinctly remembered his vicious attack—biting into Arion’s neck and draining every drop of blood from his body. He was certain Arion was dead, beyond recovery.
But now, here stood the very man he killed.
“Impossible… This has to be a trick!” Bear King Bailey exclaimed, glaring at the body nearby. “Look! Arion’s corpse is right there. This must be some impostor.”
Everyone turned toward the mummy-like figure lying a short distance away. Yes, the body was still there. That meant…
The Arion before them couldn’t be real.
“Corpse?” Arion chuckled, the sound rich with mockery. “You really believed you killed me? That was just a paper clone. A little distraction. You seriously thought it was me?”
“Paper clone?”
Bear King Bailey narrowed his eyes, refusing to buy into the claim. “Do you think we’re fools? A paper clone could never fight like that!”
After all, it had taken every ounce of strength from all of them—blood demon William, Bear King Bailey, and other top warriors—to bring Arion down. They were all critically injured in the process. No simple clone could have put up such resistance.
“You think I’m lying?” Arion smirked. “Allow me to enlighten you.”
He raised his hand and waved.
A light breeze swept through the battlefield.
The corpse they had fought so hard to kill—Arion’s supposed body—began to disintegrate. In mere moments, it crumbled into dust, vanishing into the wind without a trace.
This left everyone speechless.
Was the Arion they had fought really just a clone? If so, what terrifying level of power had Arion himself attained?
A chilling realization crept over them. This wasn’t just a battle—they were trapped in a nightmare.
“Enough of this trickery!” Bear King Bailey roared, forcing confidence into his voice. “Don’t let him scare you. If we could kill him once, we can do it again! Stay focused and attack together!”
His words reignited the warriors’ fighting spirit.
“Yes! No matter how strong he is, he’s still just flesh and blood. Let’s end this!”
Blood demon William shot into the air like a black streak of light, claws outstretched toward Arion’s throat.
“Kill him!”
Bear King Bailey surged forward, his sharp claws aiming for Arion’s chest.
The others followed suit, each unleashing their most powerful techniques:
Tristan summoned the Snow Princess, conjuring an icy storm.
The boxing saint Basong called forth the phantom of the Elephant God, charging forward with crushing force.
The six-armed demon of Zhunigia hurled a rain of weapon strikes with blinding speed.
This coordinated assault was their last hope.
Arion, however, stood unshaken, Celestial Slay Sword in hand.
“Heh…” He chuckled softly before making his move.
With a single swing of his blade, the battlefield turned to chaos.
First Strike: A white arc of light cut through XuJi’s icy storm, shattering it in an instant. The Snow Princess disintegrated into shards of light, and Tristan was thrown to the ground, coughing blood. His demon sword snapped in two.
Second Strike: The next swing cleaved the Elephant God’s phantom in half and struck Basong directly. His body exploded into a crimson mist, leaving no remains.
Third Strike: The six-armed demon lost all six of its limbs in a flash of light. Reduced to its human form—Brady, Santino, and Victor—the trio collapsed, bleeding and motionless.
Arion’s movements were swift, almost surreal. Before anyone could react, he unleashed two more devastating blows.
Fourth Strike: Bear King Bailey took the brunt of it, his chest split wide open, exposing his organs.
Fifth Strike: Blood demon William’s body erupted in a spray of gore, limbs scattering as the battlefield was painted red.
In mere moments, the once-coordinated attack ended in utter devastation.
Arion stood alone amidst the carnage, his blade gleaming ominously. From the moment the fight began to its brutal conclusion, not a single foe had managed to touch him.
The battlefield fell silent, save for the faint sound of the wind. Arion lowered his sword and surveyed the scene, his expression calm, yet menacing.
This was no mere warrior. Arion was an unstoppable force—an emperor of death itself.
