An Understated Dominance Chapter 2375
“Bang!”
Under the fierce attack of the three-headed, six-armed spirit, the last figure of Briggs shattered instantly.
The crowd erupted in shock, especially the women who supported Briggs. They screamed in sorrow, and some even fainted in distress. It was heartbreaking to see such a handsome man defeated like this.
While the audience was in chaos, Fenley, who was on stage, wasn’t celebrating.
When the spirit’s attack landed on Briggs, it didn’t hit a body but a mass of air.
This meant that the last figure of Briggs was also just a clone.
If all the nine figures were clones, where was the real Briggs?
As Fenley frowned, trying to figure it out, he suddenly felt a jolt of fear and sensed danger. He looked up and saw Briggs diving down from above, headfirst, with his feet up. He was holding a folding fan, and the front tip gleamed like a sword.
Without making a sound, he descended with the force of a falling meteor.
“You’re asking for death!”
Fenley reacted quickly, slamming his palms upward just as Briggs descended. His powerful energy surged like a landslide.
“Bang!”
The figure of Briggs exploded into air again.
“Another fake?” Fenley was surprised. This attack had felt much more real than the others—how could it be another clone?
Suddenly, a metallic clash sounded behind him.
Briggs had somehow moved behind Fenley and struck at his back with the sword-tip of his fan.
However, the expected fatal blow didn’t happen. When the sword tip touched Fenley’s skin, it was blocked by a protective energy shield.
Few knew that the Four Symbols of the Heavenly God technique was not just an offensive move but also incredibly strong defensively. Once activated, it made Fenley nearly invincible to physical attacks, fire, and water.
A sneak attack like this couldn’t harm him.
“It’s not that simple,” Fenley said as he turned, but Briggs had already pulled back, putting distance between them.
Briggs had used clever tricks and clones to deceive Fenley twice, but he wasn’t strong enough to break through Fenley’s defense.
“Too bad,” Fenley muttered.
“Wait—Briggs is still alive?”
“He almost hit Fenley. This guy is something else!”
“His clone technique is unbelievable!”
The crowd was abuzz. Despite not landing a blow, Briggs had shown impressive combat awareness and skill.
“You’re quite skilled,” Fenley said, glancing at the tear in his clothes. He looked at Briggs with more intensity. “You were close to hurting me, but that small gap is one you’ll never cross.”
Fenley acknowledged that Briggs was powerful. If he hadn’t recently advanced in his skills, fighting him would’ve been tough.
But now, things were different.
No matter how skilled Briggs was or how tricky his moves, he was still just a martial arts master.
Fenley, however, had become a grandmaster.
The difference in titles seemed small, but it was vast in power.
With the Four Symbols of the Heavenly God protecting him, Briggs would never be able to break through Fenley’s defense.
From the start, Fenley was untouchable.
“You seem stronger than yesterday,” Briggs said, his eyes gleaming. “It looks like you’ve broken through to a new level. That must’ve come at a great cost, right?”
Fenley smiled. “You have a sharp eye, but you’re wrong about one thing. My breakthrough happened naturally, just a little earlier than expected.”
“Congratulations,” Briggs said with a smile. “But even with your breakthrough, winning the championship won’t be easy.”
“You don’t need to worry about that,” Fenley replied. “Since you understand the gap between us, it’d be wise to admit defeat. It would save both of us some trouble.”
Normally, Fenley wouldn’t waste time talking. But Briggs was different—his clone technique was impressive. Defeating him might require some extra effort, and Fenley wanted to conserve his strength for a later battle with Glenn Hadley.
“It’d be too humiliating to surrender,” Briggs said. “I may not be able to beat you, but I want to see just how strong the Four Symbols of the Heavenly God can be.”
“If you want to see my ultimate moves, you’ll be risking your life,” Fenley warned coldly. “Can you afford to lose?”
“I’d like to try,” Briggs replied with a grin.
“Fine! Since you insist on sealing your fate, I’ll grant your wish today!”
Fenley’s eyes turned icy, and his patience ran out. He hadn’t intended to kill Briggs, but if Briggs refused to back down, Fenley wouldn’t hesitate to be ruthless.
