An Understated Dominance Chapter 2347 – Black Kong winced in pain and flung the snake-like creature from his hand. But the creature wasn’t done—it sprang back at him.
“Seeking death!” Black Kong growled, crushing the creature with a single punch, turning it into a bloody mist. He then glanced at Abigail in the distance, a wicked smile spreading across his face. “Just a little snake, beautiful. Did you really think that could harm me?”
“Not hurt you? Maybe you should check where it bit you,” Abigail replied, a hint of sarcasm in her voice.
“Huh?”
Black Kong looked down, noticing two tiny pinprick wounds where he’d been bitten. The wounds were small, barely even bleeding, but a strange black color had appeared around them. It was darker than his skin, almost like ink, and it was spreading quickly, crawling up his veins. In just a breath, it had covered most of his palm.
“What is this?”
Black Kong’s smile vanished as he frowned. He had always believed his body was indestructible, so he hadn’t taken the bite seriously. But now, he realized that the small, human-faced creature had penetrated his defenses with its fangs.
The unknown toxin was making him feel uneasy, and he had a gut feeling that if it spread, his life would be in serious danger. His body might be tough, but that didn’t make him immune to all poisons.
Without hesitating, Black Kong’s left hand transformed into a pitch-black blade. With a shout, he swung the blade down hard on his right wrist.
“Crack!”
The blade sliced through skin and muscle, digging into the bone as blood splattered across the ground. But his defenses were so strong that even his own blade couldn’t sever his wrist completely.
“Argh!”
He roared, raising the blade again and bringing it down a second time, finally severing his wrist. The sight was so brutal that it made the onlookers shudder. They hadn’t expected Black Kong to be so ruthless, cutting off his own hand without a second thought.
As his severed wrist hit the ground, it began to decay rapidly, turning into a pool of blood in mere moments.
“Quick thinking—if you hadn’t acted fast, the poison would’ve spread through your body, and cutting off your hand would’ve been the least of your worries,” Abigail remarked, eyebrows raised in surprise.
The snake-like creature was a deadly, poisonous monster carefully bred by the Mystic Arts Order. It looked weak and harmless, but its bite was lethal. Anyone bitten would turn into a pool of blood within minutes if the poison wasn’t neutralized in time.
Abigail hadn’t expected Black Kong to have the willpower to sever his own wrist, which had saved him from a grisly end.
“You vicious woman! You think you can kill me that easily?” Black Kong snarled, his face twisted in rage.
As he spoke, the stump of his wrist began to twist and morph. The blood flow stopped, and a sharp black blade extended from the severed arm. However, this new blade was slightly shorter than the one on his left arm.
“What kind of monster is he? His severed arm just turned into a blade!”
“Like the priest earlier—he must’ve been genetically modified.”
“Disgusting!”
“…”
The crowd whispered among themselves, shocked by the transformation.
It was no wonder Black Kong had been willing to cut off his wrist—his arms could shape-shift into weapons. Now, with both hands turned into blades, his threat level had only increased.
“I was going to make this fun, but you’ve left me no choice. Now, I’ll have to kill you,” Black Kong said as he slowly unfolded his two blades. They gleamed ominously in the sunlight. “But don’t worry, I’ll do it in one strike. You won’t feel much pain—I’ll still need your perfect body, after all.”
“You fool. I was going to make your death quick, but now I’ve changed my mind,” Abigail replied, her eyes growing cold.
As she spoke, she raised her hand, and a red light shot from her sleeve, aiming at Black Kong’s face.
Remembering the previous attack, Black Kong didn’t dare to be careless. He swung his blade at the red light, striking it head-on. But the moment the blade made contact, there was a muffled “bang,” and the red light exploded into a thick, poisonous fog that enveloped him. The fog spread rapidly until it was stopped by Orion Foster’s lightning at the edge of the ring.
“Ahhh!”
Black Kong’s screams echoed from within the fog, filled with agony. Moments later, his massive figure burst through the red mist, fleeing in desperation.
After just a second in the fog, Black Kong’s body was covered in festering wounds, and he was bleeding profusely. The most disturbing part was the layer of red mist clinging to him, eating away at his flesh with a sinister “sizzling” sound.
Frantically, Black Kong twisted and thrashed, trying to shake off the red mist, but it was no use. The mist only faded when his wounds had rotted so deeply that his bones were exposed.
He was no longer recognizable as the powerful figure he once was—his body was now a bleeding, festering mess. The wounds weren’t fatal, but the excruciating pain was far worse than anything he had ever endured, even more than losing his hand.
“Bitch! I’ll kill you!”
Consumed by rage, Black Kong charged at Abigail like a wild beast, his only thought to tear her apart.
