As he spoke, the giant sword on his back began to hum softly.

“Oh? Finally going to use the sword?” Fenley smirked, excitement gleaming in his eyes.

“The warm-up is over. Now, I’ll show you what true sword control looks like!” Kamden declared, raising his hand to the sky. “Sword, rise!”

“Clang~!”

The giant sword on Kamden’s back unsheathed itself, hovering above him.

The sword was six feet long and five inches wide, snow-white, with mysterious red runes etched into its surface.

As the sword glowed, the runes began to shift, almost as if they were alive.

“My sword never leaves its sheath without drawing blood. Today, you will be its offering!” Kamden pointed his sword forward.

“Swoosh!”

The giant sword shot forward like a bolt of white light, aimed straight at Fenley.

The speed was incredible—just a streak of light was visible.

“So fast!” Fenley’s eyes widened as he instinctively raised his arms, forming an energy shield in front of his chest.

“Bang!”

The white light struck the energy shield, sending ripples through it.

Fenley was forced several steps back, and the shield in front of him cracked like a spider web. It was barely holding together, just a hair away from shattering and leaving him exposed.
