An Understated Dominance Chapter 2335 [4669 – 4670]-Facing the three swords coming at him, Easton Foster knew better than to confront them directly. With a swift movement, his figure blurred, leaving behind afterimages as he dodged the attack.
But just as he thought he had escaped, Sam Dawson made a slight motion with his fingers. The three swords, which had missed their target, suddenly changed direction, hurtling towards Easton’s back with even greater speed.
In response, Easton raised his index and middle fingers, surrounding himself with a golden light.
“Clang! Clang! Clang!”
The swords struck the golden barrier, unable to penetrate it. However, they didn’t fall away; instead, they began spinning rapidly, their sharp tips drilling into the golden light, producing sparks.
To Easton’s surprise, the once impenetrable shield began to ripple.
“Huh?” Easton frowned, taken aback.
The weapons from the Thousand Machine Box were indeed extraordinary—not only were they incredibly sharp, but they also possessed a strange, almost sentient quality. Dealing with them would be no simple task.
“Go!” Sam Dawson commanded as he slapped the Thousand Machine Box again. This time, a red light shot out—a blazing arrow made from an unknown metal, brimming with energy and surrounded by fire.
With a swift motion, Sam Dawson pointed his fingers at Easton, and the arrow shot forward with a sharp “swoosh,” transforming into a fiery dragon. The dragon roared, its fangs bared as it charged at Easton.
“Thunder magic!” Easton didn’t dare take any chances. He quickly formed a seal with his fingers and pointed at the incoming fire dragon.
“Clang!”
A bolt of blue lightning shot out, colliding with the fire dragon in a thunderous explosion. The two forces clashed, causing a whirlwind of energy.
When the dust settled, both the lightning and the fire dragon had vanished, and the red arrow, now back in its original form, was deflected.
But Sam Dawson remained unfazed. Without pausing, he slapped the Thousand Machine Box once more, releasing three black iron balls. The balls, each the size of a fist, looked unassuming, but their surfaces were covered in tiny pinholes.
These were the Tardif Sect’s deadly weapons, known as the Hundred Flowers Kill. But the ones in Sam Dawson’s hands were enhanced—more powerful and far more toxic. Even a master of martial arts would perish instantly if struck in a vital spot.
“Go!” With a wave of his hand, Sam Dawson sent the three Hundred Flowers Kill flying towards Easton. When they were just ten meters away, the balls exploded, releasing a swarm of poison needles aimed directly at him.
These needles were designed to pierce even the strongest defenses. Though not as formidable as the Ice Needles, their sheer numbers made them a deadly threat. At close range, few could survive such an attack.
Easton’s Thunder Magic couldn’t stop them all, and although his Golden Light Shield offered some protection, it wouldn’t last forever against such relentless assaults. Realizing he was running out of options, Easton decided to use one of his most powerful techniques—the Divine Talisman.
With a flick of his wrist, he produced a white talisman paper.
“Seal!” Easton shouted as he hurled the talisman forward. The paper exploded in midair, releasing a white mist that enveloped the poison needles.
Then, something extraordinary happened. The needles, once so deadly, froze in midair, lost their power, and dropped harmlessly to the ground with a soft “ding.”
“Oh? Even the Divine Talisman?” For the first time, a hint of surprise crossed Sam Dawson’s cold face.
The Sacred Wyrm Summit was known for its three unique skills: the Golden Light Shield for defense, Thunder Magic for attack, and the Divine Talisman—a mysterious art far more difficult to master than the other two. Only a handful of practitioners were proficient in the Divine Talisman, and all of them were renowned figures like Ancient Sage Katy Foster and High Master Orion Foster. But they were all well past fifty years old.
Easton, however, was not even twenty.
This wasn’t just talent—it was sheer genius. Given a few more years of practice, Easton could easily ascend to the Legendary List, and perhaps even claim a spot on the Astonishing World List.
The Sacred Wyrm Summit had produced prodigies before, like Ancient Sage Arion Foyer, and now Easton Foster. Truly, it was a place where monsters were born.
But Sam Dawson wasn’t intimidated. After all, he was a demon in his own right.
With the Thousand Machine Box in his possession, Sam was confident he could defeat not only Easton but also legends like Glenn Hadley and Dustin Rhys, who topped the Legendary List.
“Easton, let’s see just how powerful your Divine Talisman is.” Sam Dawson declared, slapping the Thousand Machine Box with both hands.
“Thousand Machine Box! Open!”
At his command, the box split open, forming a “V” shape. In the next moment, hundreds of hidden weapons burst out, filling the air with their deadly gleam. Each weapon was lethal enough to kill a martial arts master on its own. Together, they were an unstoppable force, capable of bringing utter destruction.
