An Understated Dominance Chapter 2317 [4633 – 4634] – “Saint, these treasures are too valuable. I think we should just forget about them.”

Azalea felt overwhelmed as she gazed at the dazzling array of treasures before her.

When Abigail, the Saint, had given Azalea the protective magic item and the spirit pills, many people had already voiced their objections. If she accepted even more, she would certainly become the target of resentment among the Mystic Arts Order disciples.

“Valuable? I got all this from running the casino. I didn’t spend a dime. Just take them. You don’t need to feel any burden. If anyone dares to talk behind my back, I’ll tear their mouths apart!”

As Abigail spoke, she glanced around, scaring the nearby Mystic Arts Order members into quickly turning away, pretending they hadn’t seen anything.

They were well aware of Abigail’s methods. Since becoming the Saint, the first thing she did was cleanse the Mystic Arts Order from within.

In the past, those who opposed her were quickly silenced with brutal force. From elders to disciples, anyone with dissenting opinions was either imprisoned or killed.

Initially, the entire Mystic Arts Order was gripped with fear. But after Abigail’s reforms, they were surprised to find that the Mystic Arts Order not only survived but thrived, attracting many outstanding disciples. It became more united and stronger.

Eventually, they realized that the people Abigail had removed were parasites within the Mystic Arts Order. They held power and resources but only sought personal gain, never considering the growth of Witchcraft.

Even the basic path to advancement for Mystic Arts Order disciples was tightly controlled by these individuals.

Some talented disciples, lacking power, influence, or background, couldn’t obtain any resources, let alone advance.

Meanwhile, some mediocre individuals relied on connections to receive a steady supply of elixirs and magical weapons, leading to extreme imbalances in resource distribution.

Everything changed when Abigail took charge.

Though she was ruthless, she was also fair, earning the respect and loyalty of all the disciples.

In the Mystic Arts Order, Abigail’s word was final, and no one dared to oppose her. Those who did were already dead.

“This…” Azalea hesitated. Abigail was so good to her, always giving her the best things first. She didn’t care about being disliked by others, but she had to consider the Saint’s position.

As the Saint, showing too much favor to one person could lead to criticism from the disciples.

“Alright, alright, don’t refuse. At most, you can consider these treasures as a loan. When you win the game, you can return them to me.”

Seeing Azalea’s reluctance, Abigail changed her approach.

Though she couldn’t give them directly, if Azalea won the game and earned the treasures, it would be seen as a natural reward.

“Fine, I’ll borrow them for now.” Azalea finally agreed, feeling less burdened by the idea of a loan.

After the second match ended, the third one quickly began.

Referee Orion Foster walked onto the stage and announced loudly, “The third match will now begin. Contestants No. 3 and No. 30, please come to the stage!”

As soon as he finished speaking, a figure shot up from the stage, flipping several times in the air before landing gracefully.

It was Eduardo Tessier, wearing a conical hat and carrying a long sword. As the chief disciple of the Jaidiyyah sect, Eduardo was well-known in the martial arts world. His appearance on the stage drew cheers from the crowd.

“Hey, man! Get on the stage and prepare to die!” Eduardo shouted arrogantly, pointing at Black Kong below the ring, full of fighting spirit.

The two had already shown each other their number balls, so they knew who their opponent was.

Eduardo was still annoyed by Black Kong’s earlier gesture of slitting his throat. Now, he was determined to crush his opponent with his superior strength.

    “Hehehe…”

With a low chuckle, Black Kong, towering over two meters tall with a massive build, walked toward the ring with a ferocious expression. A battle maniac, he had been waiting for this moment, eager to unleash his power.

“You, Warrior of Dragonmarsh, meeting me is the worst luck of your life. I’m going to show you what h-e-l-l really is!”

Black Kong, also known as George Bross, stepped into the ring, his shoulders slightly hunched, muscles bulging like obsidian, glistening under the sunlight.

“Hmph! Who are you trying to scare? You’re just bigger. Do you really think I’m afraid of you?” Eduardo replied coldly, unfazed.

He had taken down many big guys before. While a muscular body might look intimidating, it often sacrificed speed and agility. Strength alone wasn’t enough. With Eduardo’s skills, he could easily run circles around his opponent.

“Alright, let’s see if you’re still brave when I’m crushing you underfoot,” Black Kong sneered, as if already seeing Eduardo as a dead man.

“Enough talk! Come at me if you dare!”

Eduardo suddenly drew his long sword, his eyes fierce.

Black Kong didn’t make a move immediately. Instead, he glanced at Referee Orion Foster. The memory of Bill Wolf’s fate was still fresh in his mind, and he didn’t want to give Eduardo a chance to pull any dirty tricks before the match officially started.

    “Are both fighters ready?”

Orion Foster looked at both men, and after they nodded, he announced loudly, “Very well, the third match officially begins!”

As soon as Orion finished speaking, Eduardo, who had been poised to strike, leaped into action.

    “Die!”

Eduardo lunged forward like a tiger, his long sword slicing through the air toward Black Kong’s neck.

What’s the use of big muscles? He’d cut him down with one sword!
