An Understated Dominance Chapter 2293 [4585–4586]-“Father… Father! I think you are right. I am injured and really need to rest. Please let go!”
Bill Wolf, in great pain, immediately begged for mercy.
In the Western world, the strong are respected above all. As long as one is powerful and their fists hard enough, they will be respected by countless people, and their words will carry weight. Simply put, if you don’t accept it, I’ll make you accept it.
“Mr. Wolf, I take back what I just said. I now think you are a smart man,” Father Adam continued to smile, his expression unchanged.
Bill Wolf’s eyes twitched. He didn’t dare say anything else and retreated to the back.
Although he didn’t acknowledge Fenley and believed he still had the strength to fight, he had to succumb to the power of Father Adam.
“Father, Bill Wolf can’t handle it, so let me teach them a lesson!” Black Kong (George Bross) suddenly slammed the table. His burly, iron-tower-like body was highly intimidating.
Whether in strength or stamina, George Bross far surpassed Bill Wolf. In a head-on battle, he was like a human tank, unstoppable.
“Why does this guy look like a gorilla?” Noemi and Kassidy exchanged surprised glances.
When George Bross had been sitting, they hadn’t felt his presence strongly. However, once he stood up, he was strikingly imposing.
With a towering height of over two meters and muscles like obsidian, he was stronger than a bull and had a great impact. An ordinary person would likely be intimidated before even starting a fight.
“Mr. Bross, please don’t be impulsive,” Father Adam smiled and raised his hand to stop George Bross. “We are here today to eat and drink, not to fight. Let’s not make a big deal out of this.”
“Father, you don’t have to do anything. I don’t take a few Dragonmarsh warriors seriously,” George Bross said in a rough voice.
Father Adam didn’t respond but walked forward slowly, placed one hand on George Bross’s shoulder, and pressed him back into his seat. Then he turned to Fenley and the others, smiling apologetically. “I’m so sorry, my two friends were a little impulsive just now. I apologize on their behalf and hope you can forgive their recklessness.”
“Humph! Why didn’t you apologize when you couldn’t beat them?!” Kassidy looked unhappy.
If Bill Wolf had been winning, the other party would probably have had a different attitude. The so-called apology was just because they feared Fenley’s strength and wanted to keep things quiet.
“There is an old saying in your Dragonmarsh, ‘You don’t know each other until you fight.’ Just now, my friend was making friends with you through fighting. If there was any offense, I hope you won’t mind,” Father Adam’s expression remained unchanged.
“Father! Why apologize to them? If it were up to me, I would just…” Bill Wolf was indignant. Just as he was about to shout a few words, Father Adam’s cold glance silenced him immediately.
At this point, Fenley suddenly changed the subject. “From the looks of it, you are a reasonable person. Since you are willing to admit your mistakes, I won’t pursue what happened today. But remember, it’s best to be honest in our Dragonmarsh and not commit any crimes. Otherwise, our Celestial Alliance will never let it go!”
“Oh? I wonder which elite of the Celestial Alliance you are? Can you tell me your name?” Father Adam asked with a smile.
“Celestial Alliance, Fenley Hudson,” Fenley replied lightly.
“It turns out to be Master Hudson. I have heard your name for a long time,” Father Adam nodded slightly, a strange glint in his eyes.
Before, Bear King Bailey had given them a list detailing some talented individuals in Dragonmarsh who posed a threat to their plans. Fenley of the Celestial Alliance was among the top.
No wonder Bill Wolf was completely overpowered earlier; he had encountered a formidable opponent.
“No need for polite words. Remember my warning, or bear the consequences,” Fenley said coldly.
“Thank you for reminding me. I will restrain my companions,” Father Adam nodded, then picked up a glass of wine from the table. “Everyone, we will take our leave now.”
After speaking, he drank the wine in one gulp and then headed downstairs with his companions.
“Fenley! I will remember you! See you on the competition field tomorrow!” Bill Wolf shouted before leaving.
Being bested by a human warrior was unacceptable for someone as arrogant as him.
Fenley didn’t even acknowledge Bill Wolf’s provocation.
“A mere loser, not worth mentioning,” he thought.
“Brother Fenley, these guys obviously have bad intentions. Are you just going to let them go?” Kassidy was reluctant.
A few beings who were neither fully human nor ghost had dared to act wildly in Dragonmarsh. They deserved a beating.
“That vampire is not a threat, but that priest is peculiar. If we truly fought, the outcome might not be in our favor,” Fenley shook his head.
The three opponents were not easy to deal with, especially the seemingly harmless priest, who gave him an unfathomable feeling. Once the fight started, it was hard to predict who would win.
