If it weren’t for my ailing health, you would have had to wait a few more years for the throne!” Seeing Rufus upset, Austin kept his mouth shut. However, his determined expression revealed his stance. Dustin, on the other hand, remained indifferent.

It took Rufus a couple of deep breaths to calm down. Forcing a smile, he addressed the group, “My sons are not meeting expectations, and I apologize for the spectacle. Let’s talk about the throne another time. Tonight, let’s just enjoy the food and drinks.” “Come on, everyone, let’s raise our glasses!” Wyatt chimed in with a smile, attempting to diffuse the tension.

He remained impartial and supported Rufus’ decision, whichever that might be.
